Riley's POV:

I wake up in a white room.

I look around to see my parents, Auggie, Maya, Lucas, Zay, Katy and Farkle all scattered around the small room.

They all look exhausted.

I groan as a sharp pain courses through my thigh.

They all turn and look at me.

"Riley, you're awake!" Maya says happily, running over to me.

She hugs me tightly. I hug her back.

"I'm okay peaches." I reassure her. She nods.

We pull away from the hug.

"Riley?" I hear my mothers voice call out from the other side of the room.

I face my mother.

She has tears in her eyes, a worried look on her face.

"Hi mom."

She comes and sits down next to me.

She takes my hand in hers. "Riley, I am so so sorry for how I have acted towards you. I have just been under so much stress these past few months with my promotion and the increase of cases. Also, Riley there's something your father and I need to tell you... Your father and I are getting a divorce... that's why I have acted the way I have. I wish things could be different between me and your father, but they aren't. I am so sorry, Riley." My mother tells me through sobs.

I bring her into a hug. "It's okay mom."

She pulls away and wipes her tears. "Where's dad?" I ask.

"He's in Philadelphia. He doesn't know what happened yet." She explains. I nod.

"How are you doing?" Farkle asks, walking towards the bed.

I look at him with a small smile, "I could be better."

My mom looks at me with a knowing look and a grin before walking away from the bed to talk to Katy.

He sighs and sits down in the now empty chair.

He takes my hand in his.

"That bullet was supposed to hit me." He says quietly, guilt written all over his face.

"Farkle, please don't blame yourself for this. No one knew what was going to happen, heck, we didn't even know if the plan would work. But it did. Maya and Katy are safe and Kermit and Stuart are behind bars." I say in a reassuring tone.

He nods. "I know. And, we're together. That's what matters." He says with a small smile.

He brings my hand up to his lips and kisses my cold skin, making me blush.

"Yea, we are."

*time skip; three days later*

"It's nice to finally be home." I say, sitting down on the bay window.

Farkle sits down next to me.

"Yea, I'm glad you are okay. My aunt will be here in a few days, so I won't be a burden to you anymore."

I roll my eyes and smile, "You are never a burden, Farkle."

He chuckles.

We sit in silence for a few minutes.

"Farkle?"

"Yea, Riles?"

"What are we?" I ask him. "Are we just friends, or are we something... more?"

He looks at me with a small smile. He places his hand on my cheek, caressing it with his thumb.

He leans in and presses his lips against mine.

I kiss him back.

He pulls away and rests his forehead against mine. "There's a question I've been meaning to ask you. Riley, will you be my girlfriend?"

I smile, "Yes."

I kiss him again.

*time skip to a year later*

"We did it! We graduated!" Zay yells happily, throwing his cap into the air.

We all do the same, except Maya.

Maya places her cap onto her daughter, Hope's head.

We all smile at her cuteness.

Lucas kisses Maya's cheek.

I giggle as I feel Farkle's arms snake around my waist.

He nuzzles his face in the crook of my neck.

He plants a kiss upon my skin, making me laugh. "Farkleeee." I whine.

He laughs and lifts up his head so he can look at me. "Yes princess?"

I turn my head so I can look at my adorable blue eyed boyfriend.

I sigh happily, glancing around the room at my group of friends, and my parents who luckily worked things out and are very happy now, before turning my attention back to Farkle.

"How did I ever get so lucky?"

"Because you opened your walls and let yourself be visible. I told you, you weren't invisible." He says with a smile.

I smile back. I peck his lips.

"I love you, Farkle."

"And I love you."
