This was the day. Today is the day.
Today, Sans would hunt down Chara, if it was the last thing he did.
He threw a few random items into his backpack, before grabbing it and racing out the door. He ran to New Home, running into the palace. He spent several minutes winding through the halls, searching for Chara. This place sure was confusing.
There were times, when Sans was nearly caught. But he managed to dive into cover at the last minute, so far escaping all the guards. But he still hadn't found Chara.
Finally, he came to the throne room. Chara was standing in the middle of a garden of golden flowers, gazing through the shining gold window behind the throne. They slowly turned around to face Sans, with a friendly grin on their face.
"Hi Sans!" They said, skipping up to him sweetly. As they did so, Sans took a step back. "Get away from me!" He cried.
Chara's smile turned to a frown. "What's wrong, Sans? You weren't like this the last time I saw you." They stepped forward again, placing a hand on Sans' arm. "You can tell me! I won't judge."
Sans tore his arm away. "You know what's wrong! Don't pretend you don't. Y0U ALMOST KILLED MY FATHER! Y0U'VE MADE HIM INSANE! IT WAS ALL YOU!"
Hurt flashed in Chara's eyes. "W-what? Why would you think that? How could you think that?"
"You destroyed his sanity! You did this to him! It was you! Why him?! WHY?!" Sans yelled. He collapsed onto his knees in the bed of flowers, petals swirling in the air around him. "Why him?"
Chara's expression turned to anger. "You selfish brat! All I've done is be a friend to you, and you're accusing me of this?! At least it wasn't you! At least it wasn't Papyrus! I was right about you all along! You just won't take what's given to you!"
Sans felt his eye flaring blue. It was Chara all along!
With all his rage, he summoned a series of attacks, aiming them at Chara. And he didn't stop. Satisfaction raced through him as he felt their HP draining by the second. Finally, when he felt he had gotten enough revenge, Sans stopped. Chara slowly got up, tears running down their face. "You evil, evil creature! Why would you blame me, when it's your fault?!"
And with that, they raced out of the throne room, leaving Sans all alone.
