Third Person POV
Peter looked at Gwen shocked, "Gwen..what was that?"
He couldn't get his hopes up, because whenever he did, they were always dragged back down as fast as they came up. She couldn't have regained her memory. It simply wasn't possible.
Gwen looked down. What if this didn't go as planned? What if he didn't love her anymore? Oh gosh, what if she was just hallucinating super realistic imagines in her head?
Softly, she whispered, "You're my path, bug boy. Am I still yours?"
But he still heard it. Every word. Peter's breath hitched, "Gwen..do you...?"
Looking back up, Gwen said, "I remember Peter. I know you're Spiderman. I remember my dad dying, I can directly recall getting into Oxford. Peter, I remember how I loved you, and still do."
Peter gazed at her in shock, how could this be happening?
Gwen choked out a sob "Please say something." And when her voice cracked, that was all Peter needed to pull her close to him.
"Oh, Gwen," he cried into her shoulder. "I was so scared. You didn't wake up, and when you, did-oh!"
He continued to cry as she pulled away, and without hesitating any longer, she leaned and kissed him.
"I love you," she mumbled. "I'm so sorry for everything. I shouldn't have said those things-"
"No," Peter cut her off. "It wasn't your fault. And I don't want you ever thinking that again." He gently stroked her cheek.
She nodded, and buried her face in his neck. "I just love you so much."
He hugged her close to him, not wanting to ever let go. "I love you too, Gwen."
A/N
Blech, this was total crap and I'm so sorry.
So there is one chapter left, and then this story is over. I am sorry if this seems rushed, but to be completely honest, I just want this to be done. My updates are super slow, and I want it to be a finished book so I don't feel guilty for not writing it.
Please check out my other Gweter books, because I am much prouder of those works and how they turned out.
Anyways, I still love you guys, and hope you all still love me as well ;)
