*Third Person POV*
Gwen sighed and cuddled closer into Peter's chest. Frowning, she quietly mumbled, "I'm so sorry, Peter."
"No," he pulled her closer. "Please don't think like that Gwen. It's not your fault. Hell, you almost died. In no way could you have controlled that."
She wiped at her damp eyes, "But I don't understand how I was able to just forget you."
"Shhh," he pecked her forehead, and leaned down to press kisses all over her face until she finally let out a small giggle. "Everything's fine, now."
Gwen nodded, and gave him a small grin. There was a slight knock at the door, and the pair looked up to see Aunt May entering. She had a bag of fast food in her hand, and smiled at seeing them cuddled up on the hospital bed.
"Special order of McDonald's at your service," she said in a serious voice. Gwen laughed as Peter mock saluted.
"Better than whatever shitty food this hospital serves," he mumbled as he opened the bag.
Aunt May shrugged- she honestly couldn't argue with that.
"I better get going," Gwen spoke sadly, and moved to get up, but Peter latched his arms around her waist and pulled her down.
"No, don't leave me," he whined dramatically, stretching the syllables in each world out. Gwen laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Mom will worry," she stated, but allowed herself to be dragged back down. Peter raised his eyebrows. It was a weak argument and she knew it. "Fine!" she pretended to be annoyed as she sent a quick text to her mother, telling her where she was.
"Fantastic," Peter said and cuddled her closer. He pulled out a french fry from the bag and began to munch on it. "Want some?"
She laughed and shook her head, "I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on that on, bug boy."
Peter pouted and childishly crossed his arm, "Fine. It's not like I really wanted to share with you anyway."
"You love me," she scoffed.
"Yeah, I love my fries too." he retorted. Gwen had an amused expression on her face as Peter stared seriously at her, before he broke into a laugh. Gripping her waist gently, he laid down so she was practically on top of him.
He nuzzled his face in her hair. "I love you, Gwen."
She smiled and pressed herself closer. "You too, Peter, Always."

The End
And there it is. I'm not planning on posting an epilogue, because I honestly feel like I'd be grasping for ideas and quality writing never comes from that.
I'd like to give all of you readers a massive thank you for taking the time to read this. The fact that this crappy short story has 164 votes- as of now- really shocks me.
I want to give a special big thank you to dolanflakes. Because of your such kind and encouraging comments on my other stories it really inspired me to write more, and I hope this wasn't as much as a let down as I think it is. I love you so much!
Please check out some of my other Gweter stories on my profile because I am much more proud of how they turned out, and there is a better plot and more fluff than this story was able to provide.
I love each and every one of you, please don't shy away just because this book is over. It'd be really nice to keep hearing from you.
~Thank you so much for everything~
