Gwen's POV
My eyes slowly begin to open. I can see I'm in a room with bare white walls, a small table to my side, and two chairs on each wall.
"What the...." I start to move before a large pain in my head pulls me back into my pillows. I gingerly lift my hand up and feel a bandage.
The door opens. and a man enters the room. By his uniform I presume he is a doctor, "Ahh, Miss. Stacy I'm glad to see you've finally awoken."
I try speaking, but my throat seems to be dried up,
"I understand you're probably very confused," the doctor continues. "But I'll leave the explaining to your mother. She'll be very happy to see you."
Once again, I try to talk, but the only thing I can do is shake my head in confusion.
The doctor analyzes me, "Do you remember any details from the accident?"
I shake my head. What accident? What is going on? Why am I here? Where are my parents?
He nods, "And before the accident? What is your last memory?"
Moving my hand, I motion towards my mouth, indicating I can't speak. The doctor sighs, "Well, that's understandable. You have been asleep for some time now. Not to mention that was quite a fall you suffered through." He hands me a cup of water.
Taking slow sips, the water soothes my throat, and I finally manage to say something, though my voice is stratchy and so unlike my own, "A fall?"
The doctor took a deep breath, "I'm going to send your mother in, alright?"
I nod, but the only thing I truly want is anwsers.
The door opens, and in walks my mom, a smile on her face "Oh, honey, it's so good to finally see you!"
I nod, "Mom, what's going on?"
She sighed, "They think it's another Oscorp experiment gone wrong. You were captured and then pushed off a clock tower."
Way to put it smooth, Mom. Then, a thought hits me, "Wait....another?"
My mother gives me a skeptical look, "Yes....you know what, I'm going to call Peter. He'll be thrilled to see you awake."
I look at her strangely, "Who's Peter?"
