Gwen's POV

Slowly drowning out the rest of the movie, I felt my eyes begin to droop, before my head involuntary rested on Peter's shoulder, and I let sleep overcome me.

I was aware of voices in my head, but I couldn't see who or what they were coming from.

"I don't know, we could, I don't know, we could uh...or we could do something else, or we could with, no, we could, like...we could," a boy's voice spoke.

"Yeah, yeah, either one," another voice said. A girl's.

"Really?"

"Yeah, sure."

The faces come into view just as the dreams ends.

I woke up, my mind a garbled mess. The voices were so familiar, and I know I knew who was speaking. I was so sure of it.

But it was like once my mind was aware I was jolted awake, left with nothing but the words, not the voices.

Why the hell was the dream so real? Why did it feel so familiar?

"Gwen," I turned to look at Peter, concern evident in his features, "You alright?"

"Yeah," I said, though my shaky voice must have given me away. I repeat stronger, "I'm fine. Just a....weird dream is all."

Peter nodded, obviously not entirely convinced. But he didn't question it, instead said, "You missed the ending of the movie."

I chuckled and jokingly stated, "Oh no, what ever will we do?"

He rolled his eyes, but still laughed along with me, "Hey are you doing anything tomorrow?"

"Um...I have a shift at Oscorp," Ilaughed bitterly. "One of the few things I still remember."

"Don't think like that, Gwen. Your memory will come back."

"And how do you know that?"

Peter looked at me, his brown eyes boring into my own, "Because I belive in you."
