~ Chapter 25 ~

Ashton's POV

I groaned, how could I let this happen? If I hadn't of come too close to my parents none of this would have happened. But no, I had to go ahead and meet the family. I snapped my head up as Trey ran into the room. He had a wide smile on his face which was freaking the shit out of me.

"Uh, why are you smiling like that?" I asked weirded out. His smile grew if that was even possible. He walked closer to my chair causing my eyes to widen. I gulped and leaned back into my chair, trying to get as far as possible from this guy. He looked like the joker from batman making me shudder, I hate that guy.

"Guess what?" He shrieked. I blinked at him getting more freaked out by the sound of his voice. Has he turned into one of those crazy guys who haven't seen their mates? Has Chloe's disappearance turned him into a psycho? If yes we better find her quick and fast before this guy turns Jonny on us because I know I would have if it wasn't for their help.

(A.N. If you don't know who Jonny is, he's this crazy psycho guy who killed his family. Can anyone say creepy? It's a movie by the way.)

"What?" I asked. He cocked his head to the side with that crazy look still on his face. He looked like he had just come out of a horror movie, I'm not the person to get freaked out quickly but daymm this guy just freaks the shit out of me.

"We know where Chloe is and how to get her back!" He shouted. I flinched as he started laughing crazily. I swallowed loudly as I processed his words. Relief washed through me. My twin was coming back. I smile lit up on my face, but it was nowhere as big as the one on his face.

"How? I mean don't they have people on guard? We would have to find a safety rout and everything. Plus this is Greenscreak pack which we're talking about here." I stated. There was no way they would be able to get through then to her; it was too risky, way too risky.

"Half of their pack is going to fight the pack in the east. My dad's already notified them so it's not a surprise attack. They're taking their best fighters so it'll be easy to get her." He responded. My eyes widened, they actually have it all planned. I thanked god that the royal would be safe once again. My wolf's happiness spread through my body at the thought of seeing them again. I sighed with relief the elders have already been on my case about her going missing. Let's just say them being pissed is not nice.

"What about their Alpha? He can't leave the pack without a leader or beta?" I questioned. He smirked and sat on a chair in my room.

"He's one stupid Alpha, but anyway the pack up east is set out on killing him. Apparently there Alpha's sister was once forced into their pack and he never really got revenge as he escaped. But now that he found out about the surprise attack he's up for his revenge. Even though I want to be the one who kills him..." He trailed off. I nodded in understanding. My daughter and mate are there to, my heart clenched as I remembered. I shuck my head there going to be safe now.

"Do you have a mate?" He asked. I kept my head down and clenched my jaw. Should I tell him? I have scars to show how many times I have tried and failed to save them.

"Yes," I muttered quietly. He gasped out of surprise I guess. I could sense he was fighting to ask me something.

Sighing, "Just say it." I told him.

"Where is she?" He asked. I closed my eyes tight. There was too many of them and one of me, the beatings and cuts. I shuddered at the memory and cupped my side as I started to feel the pain again.

"He took them." I whispered angrily. He clenched his jaw and fist. I was shocked at his reaction.

"Them?" He asked. I nodded no one knew about my mate and daughter.

"My mate... and daughter." I told him. He growled and his eyes turned black. I clenched my fist again.

"Who?" His voice boomed. I shook my head and swallowed loudly, trying to keep my wolf under control.

"Greenscreak...Alpha." I spat.

"What the fuck!" He growled. I was fighting with my wolf now. He wanted to rip every single person in that pack to death, then slowly torture there Alpha to death, until he begged for him to just end his life.

"I tried to get them... so many times." I whispered more to myself.

"Every fucking time they were ready. Almost as if they knew I was coming, every fucking time. The last time I was there my mate told me she had, had a baby... my baby. A little girl, she was so beautiful. We were so close to escaping. Then he showed up." I spat the last bit. He never said anything so I continued.

"He told me if I left and never came back he wouldn't harm them. But if I stayed to fight him then lost he would kill them in front of me. I was going to fight him, I could've won... I'm a pure black wolf, I was made to guard, to protect and I'm much stronger than an Alpha until twenty of his guys came. It wasn't a fair fight but he never plays fair, I had no choice but to leave them. It's been three months, I've missed three months of my baby growing up." I told him. A tear slipped down my face. I wiped it away quickly. I need to get her; I need to be strong for them.

"Change of plan, we're going to fucking kill him!" He growled. I smirked even though I was dying inside.

"I like that plan much more." I told him. I'm going to make his death slow and painful.

Chloe's POV

They had chucked me into a different room. There was a girl about the same age as me with a baby. I groaned as pain ran up my back. She snapped her head towards me and gasped. I closed my eyes and sighed as the pain started to go slowly. I opened my eyes to see the girl staring at me with her mouth open. For some reason I felt a connection towards her, sort of like a sister one.

Weird...

"I know I probably look like crap but these few weeks have been like that for me." I told her. She closed her mouth and opened it again before closing it. I chuckled quietly. It felt so good to talk to someone other than 'Trevor'.

'I-I'm sorry... y-you just remind me of someone." She told me.

I frowned in confusion, "I do?" I asked. She nodded and smiled a little. But even I saw the pain behind it.

"It doesn't matter, I'm probably being stupid." She mumbled.

"Oh, well do share I need to talk to a normal person before I go crazy." I told her seriously making her laugh lightly.

"My mate, I know it's weird its just you have the same hair and eyes." She told me shyly, almost embarrassed to be comparing him to a girl. My eyes widened a little.

"What his name?" I asked, I had a feeling I knew him.

"Ashton." She had a smile on her face when she said that. I frowned for a bit, my twin couldn't be her mate... could he? I mean well he never told me about his mate, if he even had one. I shook my head no she couldn't be could she?

"This may sound weird... but I found out recently that I have a twin brother, named Ashton." I told her. Her eyes widened as she started at me.

"So y-you mean that- well... we could be related?" She asked. I scrunched up my face in confusion.

"I don't know?" I told her. We both stared at each other for a bit and then broke into smiles. I looked at the baby in her arms. She looked down at her and then back to me.

"Well then..." She trailed off. I blushed at my stupidity.

"Chloe..." I trailed off.

She smirked a little, "April." She told me. I smiled at her.

"So Chloe, little Anna here could be your niece." She told me. My smile grew even wider even after everything that I had been through these past few days. I could be an auntie!

Geez I feel old...
