Chloe's POV

As I watched Trey open the last few of his presents I couldn’t help but smile as everything was finally being put into place. Chanel had recovered from coma a few days ago and was rightfully taking her place as future queen so I was no longer needed and my mom was officially out her mother’s life. So it was a win-win all round really.

Ashton and April had started to become a proper family, the Elders had no right to take him away this time. As soon as they found out he had a child it was a congratulations and goodbye, sweet and short. But anyone could tell from the smile that was out onto his face that day will permanently be there forever, he was now free after all and was able to be a part of his daughter’s life, not to mention the fact he could be with is mate again.

My dad and Trey had becoming near enough best friends which was scary but also really awesome, this way I was able to let him stay over, but of course the door had to always stay open. It wouldn’t be really father like to have me stay in a room with a boy, no matter if he was my mate and we were destined to be forever, he still wanted none of it.

Lastly, me and my father were normal again, well I wouldn’t really call it normal I mean the other day we did have a water fight inside the house, my mom weren’t really happy but I knew she was happy that we were back to normal again and the awkwardness had died. I guess sometime during that fight he’d let out all his anger and frustration, because I was well soaked when he’d finished pelting me with water balloons. While I just stood there and took it all while screaming for my life, it was all I could do.

Wrapping his arms around my waist, he leaned his chin on top of my head, “Thanks for the present babe.” I smiled in response and squeezed his hands gently.

“Glad you liked it-” Turning around in his arms I looked up into his eyes. “I wanted to get you something different you know? I mean it’s always the normal things like watches and all that other guy stuff.” I mumbled.

As I watched the same beautiful smile cover his face I couldn’t help but allow my heart to go into a frenzy, it was all too much and I couldn’t cope with how cute he is. “All that other guy stuff?” He asked with a small chuckle. Too much, way too much.

“Ye-yeah all that other guy stuff you know? Boxers and stuff?” I rambled which made him laugh.

“I know.” He watched me for a few seconds and furrowed his eyebrows. “What’s wrong with you, you’re more weird then usual?”

I gave him a blank look before responding, “Oh thanks!” I told him with as much sarcasm as possible.

Shrugging he kissed my forehead, “You know what I mean, so what’s up?”

“Nothing I’m just happy everything is finally back to normal and we are all getting along, not to mention the fact that you and my brothers are all buddy-buddy and that Aston gets too stay… so I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m just really, really happy.” I explained in one huge breath.

He still had the same weird look in his eyes as I finished explaining, “You are amazing you know that?” He said finally.

“No, not really,” I told him.

Shaking his head a little, he let out a little cough, “I guess you’re really stupid as well,”

“Thanks?” I questioned, laughing a little at his face expression.

“I’m trying to be serious here Chloe! You are honestly the most amazing girl I have ever met and I cannot believe how many months we wasted in the beginning-“

“That was all your fault!” I interrupted.

Nodding his head, “Yeah I know that’s why I need to ask you something-” letting out a shaky breath he rummaged around in his left pocket for something.

My face right now was the perfect picture of confusion as he ran a shaking hand down his face, why is his hand shaking?! “Go ahead?” I asked hesitantly.

“I know we have been together for only a few months but these few months have been the best months ever, and I never expected to ever ask any girl this at my age, but you-” He ran his finger along my cheekbone. “You are not just any girl, you are special, so, so special and I’m an idiot for not realising that any earlier.”

“Wh-what?” I mumbled.

“Shh, don’t say anything it’s my turn to talk now.” As he slowly lowered himself onto one knee I couldn’t believe this was happening, which is why at that same moment I decided to slap myself… several times. “What are you doing?” He asked amused before shaking his head. “Actually never mind I don’t even want to know.”

Taking my hand he gently placed a kiss on my knuckles before looking up at me. “I know we are still young and you didn’t want marriage or anything until after graduation which is why I want you to wear this instead-” Opening the little box, inside stood the most beautiful ring I had ever set my eyes on. “This is a promise ring, I promise to always love you, I promise to always be there for you and most of all I promise to always be by your side no matter what happens, whoever decides to come in our way never will be able to because I will forever be by your side. So will you, Chloe Watson, the beautiful women who had stolen my heart, accept this promise ring?”

As much as I tried to not let my tears lose throughout his speech, I was a blubbering mess by the time he had finished. “I will, of course I will you complete and utter idiot, why’d you even have to ask and make me cry and become all snotty and-” Stopping me from going on any longer Trey stood up and kissed me. The kiss was completely mind-blowing and no words can describe how passionate and magical it was. When he pulled away, he placed the beautiful ring onto my left hand and from that moment I knew everything was going to be okay.

Everything was perfect.

OMFG it’s over! The amount of support I have gotten from you guys is absolutely amazing and I’m so surprised that my writing has gotten so many reads. When I first started this it was almost an experiment on basically my writing skills and yes, at first even I knew it was a complete and utter mess but what I also know is that I’ve improved and I wouldn’t have been able to do that without you guys who have been there with me from the beginning.
