Nicole's P.O.V.
We entered the plane. Dan was sitting in between me and Phil. How the hell did this happen? I thought to myself. I thought they both thought I was weird, not gonna lie. After all the embarrassing things I've done in front of them.
"I thought you guys didn't like me, honestly, " I say to them. They give me a weird look.
"Why would we hate you? You're adorable," Dan says. Wait, what?
"T-Thanks," I say, blushing like crazy. Something so simple just made me blush so bad.
"I didn't mean it like that," Dan says.
"Yes you did, Dan. Stop lying," Phil says back. I start laughing really loud. Everyone on the plane heard and I felt so awkward.
"Shut up, Phil," Dan whispers. I start laughing even more. God, what did this mean?
Louise and Ashley were right near us, watching as I surprisingly wasn't failing when talking to Dan and Phil. It was weird. How the hell did this happen?
"Oh hey, you're getting so close to 1 million subscribers. That's insane," Dan says.
"I know! I never thought this would happen at all," I say.
"Well you deserve it," he says with a smile. Here we go again. I'm blushing. I start laughing nervously, but Dan starts blushing too.
Wait what the...?
"Hey Nicole, which hotel are you staying in?" Phil asks, interrupting my thoughts.
"The Holiday Inn," I reply.
"Oh my god! We're staying in the same hotel," Dan says. Whoa. Why did all of this happen today??? Jesus. How did I get so lucky?
Dan's P.O.V.
This is crazy. Nicole and I are staying in the same hotel together.
Let me say something. I really like Nicole. I meant it when I said she was adorable. And you know what I mumbled that I didn't repeat? "So cute." Yeah, I really like her. She's so funny and so relatable and I dunno, something about her has made me feel this way towards her. Plus I'm a huge fan of her. Could she like me back? I couldn't tell at this point.
"What room number?" I ask her. I was curious, I actually wanna get to know her even more.
"107, 3rd floor," she says.
Wait a minute.
WHAT?
She's right across from my hotel room! Phil's is right next to mine but holy shit. What do I say now?
"I'm directly across from you!" I say, almost shouting.
"Shut up, you're being so loud," I hear Louise say. Fuck. Who cares?
Nicole's P.O.V.
"Oh my god this is amazing!" I say. All of a sudden, he starts hugging me. Wait did that really just happen?
Not gonna lie, I could stay in his arms forever. I felt safe. I know that sounds so stupid considering this is my first time talking to him properly, but I've wanted this for so long. I like him a lot and I hope he likes me.
"Hey, I'm getting really tired," I say. It's almost 6:00pm at this point. I get out of Dan's arms and try to make myself comfortable in my airplane seat. That didn't work very well, and Dan could tell.
"No no no, come here," he says as he pulls me in his arms again. I felt so comfortable.
"You know, you don't have to do this, Dan," I say, assuring him that I could find a comfortable position in my seat (that's a total lie I wanna stay in his arms and fall asleep).
I just didn't want to annoy him, I guess.
"No it's ok. It's clear that you weren't comfortable at all in the seat. So you're staying in my arms," he says, making me blush yet again.
"Ok, if you insist," I say while laughing. Man, how was he so open with me? I just had my first proper conversation with him and he's letting me fall asleep in his arms? Whoa. Maybe he does like me.
Unfortunately, I'll never know.
