Nicole's P.O.V.
"Hi!!" Dan says. We're currently Skyping right now. "I miss you so much."
"I miss you too, Dan," I say. "Can we just Skype all day?" It's only 9:34am. How did I get up so early? I have no clue.
"Anything you want," he says. I smile. "So, when are you going to your parents'?"
"Next Saturday," I say, my smile suddenly disappearing. "I don't wanna go..."
"I know, baby. But your mom wants to see you for her last days," he tells me.
"What terrifies me most is that I'm losing her soon," I say. "I don't know what I'm gonna do when she's gone."
"I'll be here, I promise."
"No one's been so loyal to me before; thank you so much, Dan."
"No problem, beautiful."

I wake up early the next morning. I look in front of me, and what do I see?
Skype open. Dan is still sleeping. I decide to mess with him and wake him up. Yeah, I know. I'm an evil little shit.
"DAN!" I shout. His head shoots up and he wakes up immediately. I also hear a loud noise coming from Ashley's room.
"Jesus, Nicole," he says. "Why'd you do that?" His morning voice is so sexy, not gonna lie.
"Because I'm mean," I say with a cheeky smile.
All of a sudden, my door swings open. In comes Ashley, her hair a complete mess. "What the fuck just happened? I fell off my bed," she says. Dan laughs from the other line.
"Why'd you fall?" I ask.
"Because you screamed Dan's name!" she shouts.
"I'm sorry, I had to!" I say, laughing really hard.
"I'm just gonna go back to sleep. Be quiet."
Dan and I both end up laughing so hard because of Ashley. "Did I tell you about that time that Phil woke me up because he saw a Dalmatian outside?" he asks.
"No, but I saw your tweet about it awhile ago," I say, still giggling like an annoying teenage girl.
"I mean, I love dogs, but don't interrupt my sleep," he says.
"I wish I could just kiss you right now..." I say out of the blue.
"Me too, but we'll see each other soon," he says with a smile. "You sure you still wanna move in with me and Phil? Ashley can come too if she wants."
"Of course, Dan. It won't be for awhile though. I'm just warning you. I think Ashley might be able to move in sooner than me," I say.
"Wait till I tell Phil that," Dan says. "He'll be off the wall."
"I know!"
All of a sudden, I hear Phil yawn from the other line. "What's going on here?" he asks, his voice deeper than usual.
"ASHLEY! GET BACK IN HERE!" I yell. They both start laughing.
"Come on, I wanna see her!" Phil says with a big smile on his face. Seeing Phil so happy always made me happy. He's one of my best friends, anyway. He's always filled with positive energy and always knows how to make other people feel better.
Dan also is like that. Except there are times when he can be negative. He can make people laugh until they're on the verge of tears. I love that so much about him.
Ashley comes in. "What do you want, Nicole?" she whines.
"Hey, baby!" Phil says. Ashley's eyes immediately shoot up and she surprisingly runs over to my laptop.
"Hey! Sorry for the bad appearance," she says.
"You look fine, Ash. Dan can I take this? I wanna talk to her," Phil asks. Dan nods, and I sit there in confusion.
"Do you want me to leave or stay here?" I ask him.
"It's fine, Nicole," he says. "So, Ashley. How are you?"
"I'm good, very tired though because someone screamed and woke me up!" she says, looking over at me.
"I'm sorry!" I say while laughing."Oh, hey, Ashley. You can move in with them sooner than I can, right?"
"Yeah!" she says. "I just need to pack and all that."
"YAY!" Phil practically screams.
"Jesus, are you trying to destroy my eardrums permanently?" I hear Dan say in the background.
"Sorry! I'm just so excited. Nicole, do you still wanna talk to Dan?"
"Of course," I say. Phil hands the laptop back to Dan. "Dan, I need to get going," I say to him.
"Why?" he asks.
"I have a bunch of errands to run and I have a ton of packing to do."
"Aw, that's ok. I'll talk to you tomorrow?"
"Yes, I love you, Dan."
"Love you more."
I hang up and put my laptop away. God, I miss him so much. I just wish I could be in his arms. That's where home really is.
