Fine went to work at the cram school, cautious that she should not meet Gale. Unfortunately, she spotted him teaching at a room she needs to pass by so she crouched to avoid the wide glass windows covering her face with test papers then she bumped onto a female teacher. She suddenly stood up. "Oh! I'm so sorry." Fine apologized to the troubled teacher. "I'm so sorry I also didn't notice you there. I'm a new teacher here, perhaps, could you help me find this room?" She asked then she showed her a paper. Fine looked at it. "Oh this, I think I've seen this. I'm also new here so-" "It's beside the cafeteria." A man's voice said then Fine turned and found Gale standing next to her. Her eyes widened and she stood stiff. "H-He will help you. I'm sorry I'm late for my class." She said then she sprinted towards her room leaving the Gale and the woman confused. "Oh, I'm Sally by the way. I'm a new teacher here. Thank you for the direction." She said then Gale nodded but he was looking at Fine's direction. "I'll get going then" The teacher said then he turned to her and smiled at her. "I hope you enjoy teaching here. He said then he went back to the room and continued his lesson.
Fine entered the room and shut the door uncontrollably loud which startled her students. She looked at them awkwardly and walked towards the platform. "Alright! Let's start the day with a short test." She said then her students sighed. "Alright, alright I know you hate tests but you're in a cram school so deal with it." She said. "I won't record it" She whispered then her students rejoiced. "This will only serve as an evaluation for what you have to learn next meeting. Let's not study. Let's learn." She said then her students cheered. "Alright, alright calm down everyone. Let's start this so you could go home early. She said then she distributed the papers. While waiting for her students to finish the test, she was thinking deeply on what she thinks about Gale, like the whole night before was not enough. "Ma'am, we're finished." A girl approached her popping her balloon. Her students are laughing at her. "You are in daze for a long time ma'am." The girl said. "Oh is that so?" She said. "I was only talking to that child there. Can't you see him?" She said then pointed at an empty corner. Her students looked at the corner and were suddenly quiet. Satisfied at their priceless expressions, she continued with her lesson.
Calling it a day, her students are getting comfortable and familiar with her. Not wanting to go home yet but was enjoying learning. "You can learn anywhere you want to learn. Now set forth my students and spread the fire." She said. "You sounded like an old hermit ma'am." A student of her said. "A wise old hermit that is." She said then she sent her students off. She used the remaining time to check her students' papers. She was almost done when Gale entered the room. She stood up quickly and shoved the papers inside her bag frantically and sprinted out without hearing Gale first. Gale followed her with a number of test papers she left in his hand. She again bumped at Sally. "Oh, you're the one earlier. I'm Sa-" Fine dragged her by her hand out of the building to avoid Gale who has stopped following her. Fine stopped as she realized she was dragging someone. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-" She apologized frantically. Sally chuckled at her. "Why are you on the run? I noticed he was the same person earlier right?" She said the Fine nodded. "By the way, I'm Sally." "I'm Serafina, you may call me Fine." She said then they shook hands. "Would you like to grab a snack? I know a café near here." Sally asked then Fine looked at her watch. "Sure." She said then they went to the café Sally was talking about.
Fine called Adam as they wait for their orders. "I'm here at the café at the next street near the cram school. What time would you be here?" She asked. "in about fifteen minutes?" Adam said. "Oh, make that thirty alright?" She said then she laughed. "But I'm already on my way there-" He said then she hung up the phone. "I'm really sorry about earlier." Fine apologized again. "Don't worry about it. But would you mind telling me the reason why you're running away from him?" She asked. Their orders came and she sipped on her latte. "Well that's because- He's my professor at the University and I'm just working at the cram school to make use of the school break." She said. "But why are you on the run? Did you do something? Did you break a rule?" She asked. "I-I think so." Fine said uncomfortably. "Oh, what was it? I'm really curious now." Sally asked. "About that. I don't think I must tell you, you know, it's something- I just can't" She said then Sally smiled at her. "Alright then I hope one day you could tell me. I'm a curious person you know and I'm guilty that it drags me into trouble sometimes." She said. "What are you currently taking in your University?" Sally asked. "I'm taking Biology." She said." Oh, as a pre-med?" she asked then Fine nodded. "What about you? You look young. Did you just graduate?" Fine asked. Sally smiled at the unintentional flattery. "Really? Do I look young? Actually I have graduated four years ago, Applied Physics, and I'm currently taking my master's. I need to earn for my tuition for the next term that's why I'm teaching here. The salary is really great." She said it like an old gossiper. Fine laughed at her then Sally smiled. "I think we'll get along great" Sally said. "I hope so. Not many people like me." She said. But before they could go on to their conversation, Adam arrived.
