You enter S.T.A.R labs with a smile on your face as you always do, ready for another day at work keeping Central City safe. Who knows what the day has in store? Something you have come to learn is anything can happen. Everything changed since the particle accelerator explosion and the wormhole that opened up the skies. Barry managed to close the portal but he didn’t do it alone, Ronnie and Dr Stein aka Firestorm helped. Saving the world came at a cost, Ronnie died and Eddie also lost his life to stop Reverse Flash. You all know the sacrifices, it won’t stop you though, you’ve got to keep going. 

Another cost that came with the wormhole is that it has opened up several breaches between your world and another, Earth Two. You and the rest of the team have been trying hard to close those breaches in order to stop an evil speedster from Earth Two who goes by the name Zoom. Luckily you have Earth Two’s Dr Harrison Wells on your side to help. It took a while for you to trust him after what happened with your own Harrison Wells; who turned out to be the Reverse Flash all along. 

As you walk through the hallway to get to the labs you see Cisco, who smiles and waves. He sees that you have brought coffee for everyone, boy is he glad to have something to kickstart his day. 

“Good morning, Cisco. This one is yours.” You hold out the coffee cup with his name on it and his eyes light up. 

“Morning, y/n. Thanks for the coffee I really need it.” As he takes the cup from you his fingers brush against your hand ever so slightly. For some reason, he feels himself starting to vibe.

Cisco stands there in front of you completely frozen, which must mean he is seeing something. It was only recently that he discovered he had powers and like Barry is a metahuman. No one knows the full potential of his abilities just yet but one thing you all know is that he gets visions, accurate ones too. 

“Cisco, are you alright?” You give him a concerned look.

“I uh…” He looks completely spooked. 

“What did you see? Was it something to do with me?” You start to get a little worried due to his reaction. 

“No.” He shakes his head side to side rapidly. “I just remembered Harry needs my help with something, I gotta go.” Cisco runs off without giving you much explanation. You know he saw something and whatever it is can’t be good if he won’t tell you. 

Deciding to shrug it off, for now, you enter the lab and sit down in your chair beside Caitlin, handing her coffee. Immediately she can tell something is wrong; you’re not smiling, you are always smiling no matter how bad things get. Barry smelled the coffee and zoomed over to collect his. A little gust of wind blows your hair around. 

“Morning,” Barry smiles before taking a sip of his coffee.

“Morning, Barry.” Caitlin replies and you say nothing, typing away on your computer. Barry looks to Caitlin puzzled, this is unusual behaviour for you. Caitlin just shrugs her shoulders not having any answers. 

“Everything alright, y/n?” Barry leans over on your desk. 

You look up into his eyes. “It’s Cisco, I think he saw something. Something to do with me and he won’t tell me.” 

“Do you want me to try and talk to him?” Barry suggests, wanting to help in any way he can. 

“No, if he doesn’t want to tell me he doesn’t have to. I just thought we were closer than that.” You sound disheartened. 

Barry and Caitlin let you get on with your work to keep your mind off things. If you don’t feel like talking they understand. Despite you telling Barry not to speak with Cisco, he is going to do it anywhere. If Cisco did see something and there is a possibility of you being harmed then Barry needs to know so that he can help stop it from happening. Cisco will listen to him, he always does.
