You know, your staring is starting to get borderline creepy.” Barry chuckled as his bestfriends attention went from you to him.

Cisco scoffed, “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about. I was definitely not just staring at Y/N and admiring how good she looks in that red dress with those black heels or how that red lipstick makes her lips-”

Barry cut him off, “Alright, well, I’m gonna go talk to uh Caitlin and Iris real quick, you just stay here. Right here, don’t move, okay?”

Cisco was confused, but nonetheless stayed at his computer. He made it a point to change the song from some old Christmas one Joe had put to your favorite.

He didn’t miss the smile that graced your lips as you heard the song change.

“Caitlin, Iris!” Barry hissed at the two as he hid behind the door, out of sight from you and Cisco.

“Why are you hiding? Did you brake another present? Barr, I told you not to run near the tree-” Iris began scolding her boyfriend as he furiously shook his head.

“No! I just broke the one! Anyway, we need to get Y/N and Cisco together! I mean, have you seen the way those two look at each other? You guys know they won’t make a move so we have to step in.” He explained.

Caitlin nodded in agreement, “Thank god I wasn’t the only one who noticed! If I have to hear Y/N talk about how she wants to run her fingers through his hair one more time, I will literally fling myself into the particle accelerator.”

“So what’s the plan?” Barry asked, wringing his hands together, clearly anxious to get to work.

Iris smirked, “Well, I might have something that will work.”

“Wally, let me through!” You whined as the boy blocked you from entering the cortex.

“I-I can’t, sorry Y/N. Iris’s orders.” He sighed, looking as fidgety as ever.

Leaning against the doorframe, you turn to see the Cisco and Barry walking down the hall, bickering over something.

It was now that you took the time to appreciate how handsome Cisco looked. Unlike his usual attire of graphic tees, he was wearing a black button up with maroon jeans and his famous sneakers. You’d had a crush on him since you started working as Caitlin’s assistant months ago but of course you never acted upon it.

Breaking you out of your thoughts was Barry and Cisco coming to a stop in front of you. Wally had somehow disappeared without you noticing.

“Why did you make me go all the way down to the morgue with you? I told you there wasn’t any more cups down there.” Cisco sighed, glaring at Barry.

“Sorry man, I could’ve sworn I put them down there. Hey Y/N!” He gave you a smile which you didn’t return.

Cisco jumped at the sound of your name, a blush coating his cheeks as he smiled at you. That of course you returned.

“Allen, mind telling me why your girlfriend won’t let me into the cortex with everybody else?” You raised your eyebrows as you spoke.

Barry’s eyes widened as he began stuttering up an explanation, but instead of talking, he just pushed Cisco into you before running to Iris.

You gasped when Cisco grabbed your waist to steady himself as you took a hold of his shoulders.

“Look up.” Joe smiled as you and Cisco just stared at each other, most likely in shock.

Doing as you were told, both of you looked up to see a string of mistletoe hanging from the door frame.

Cisco was the first one to make a move, he grabbed your face in both of his hands and pressed your lips together. It took you a second, but when you realized what was happening, you immediately kissed back. His hands went down to grip your waist as yours tangled in his soft hair.

The way he kissed you, it was so tender yet just the right amount of roughness. You really didn’t want it to end, but of course it had to.

When Barry cleared his throat.

You went to pull away, but Cisco once again grabbed ahold of your face and rested his forehead against yours as you both tried to catch your breath.

“You have no idea how long i’ve wanted to do that.” He whispered.

A smile broke out onto your face as you nodded, “I think I know how long.”

You had to find out who hung the mistletoe there, so you could thank them.
