(AZMARIE'S POV)
5 months.
5 months of eating, not working, going through a huge rollercoaster of emotions, and hiding away on an island.
I sighed deeply as I sat on the couch, staring at the open window as rain and cold breeze wooshed inside.
There was a storm going on and I got tired of getting up and closing the window when the wind would only push it open again.
My hands was subconsciously rubbing my large belly while I dozed off like I did most days.
My bedroom door suddenly opened and I didn't bother turn to see who it was.
"Oh darling." Samantha sighed as she sat beside me.
"How are you feeling today?" She asked, laying her hand on my stomach.
In the past few months, Samantha has changed tremendously. Her hair was much longer, she looked healthier than from when I first met her, and although she said she was over it, I could still see that the death of Robert deeply traumatized her.
"I'm fine just feeling dead in this stupid place. Andruis can get really annoying. Is moving to an island in the Caribbean really necessary! I'm just like any ordinary pregnant woman." I said, letting out my frustration like every morning for the past 5 months.
"Don't worry, sweet. My son is just protecting his wife and baby. Please just give him a break, soon enough he'll let you out and you can enjoy life again." She said, comforting me.
"I know how you feel at the moment so I completely get you. You feel trapped and like you're being here against your will. So was I... except yours is out of love and mine was out of evilness." She added casually,
I immediately felt bad and decided to just drop the whiny, bitch attitude towards my future mother-in-law, but certainly not to my stupid fiancé.
"Its ok, Samantha. I can manage in this island a bit longer, I'm really that bothered with it. It's just that I haven't seen Andruis for two weeks straight. He hasn't even come to see me, call me, or even text me. I'm just worried and my mind is coming up with the worst things possible!" I explained,
You think me being pregnant would have the man with me 24/7 and never letting me out of his sight, but it's the exact opposite. Once he put me on this island, he hasn't bothered to show his stupid face.
"I'm sorry, Azmarie." Samantha said and looked away.
"Hey, we should go out! Let's go have fun while he's not here!" She said excited,
"I can't, I'm pregnant if you haven't noticed." I stated,
"That doesn't matter. You can still have fun. I always went out even as I was pregnant with Andruis." Samantha said, waving it off.
"Ok, I guess." I said, smiling at her.
"But what about the guards. They're aren't just going to leave us walk out the front door." I said,
"Just leave that up to me. You just go get ready." Samantha said and got up.
She left my room in a hurry, leaving me wondering what she was planning in that vampire head of hers.
I shook my head finally and got up.
After taking a quick shower, I changed into some loose jeans, a big shirt, and strap on sandals.
I let my hair out that has grown longer and I debated on cutting it again. I didn't bother with much markup except for some mascara and lipbalm.
Samantha came barging in just as I finished with Laila behind her.
