(AZMARIE'S POV)

Checking into a hotel was simple and I didn't have clothes so less of the hassle.

"Here is your key for your room, miss." The lady behind the desk politely said.

"Thanks." I said, taking it and took the elevator up to my destined floor.

Reaching the door of the room, it was simple and quite decent.

Dropping my purse on the table, I took a seat on the couch and grabbed the remote.

There was so much things my mind was trying to wrap around, but I honestly didn't want to think of anything a the moment, so I turned the TV to relax for a bit.

New disease in America... Donald Trump being a jackass... Ebola disappears... China leading with its manufacturing... blah blah blah.

Getting bored with the news, I switched to the Comedy Central and dozed off while watching it.

I was deeply upset with Andruis who I was planning on not confronting or talking to for quite some time. Well, until he says sorry and begs for forgiveness which he won't get so easily.

But on a different note, I think its time I step out of my hiatus that I've managed to get into.

Life doesn't stop because you get pregnant by a Demon King. Things have changed about me and I'm not liking the change.

I've become a whiny, weak, dependent, fat bitch who has grown needy of a man who's barely in the picture at the moment.

Andruis has clearly taken advantage of my unstable state and thinks that he has control over me and can tell me what to do.

Well, no more. Screw him!

Feeling hyped with my thoughts, I pull my phone out and dailed a number that I haven't called in a while.

In just two rings the person answers in a heartbeat.

"Azmarie! Hi, it's been a while and I've been worrying about you. Diamond doesn't really tell me much!" Lilly squealed into the phone, making me laugh.

"I know and I'm sorry for not calling you in so long, Lilly." I sighed, missing my friend.

"It's ok, you know I'm always here waiting on you." She said and I could hear the sincerity.

"Listen, Lilly. We need to catch up on things. My life has gotten on a crazy roller-coaster that won't stop. It's a confusing mess and I need stability. I'm in the virgin islands, but I'll be taking a flight to Dallas tomorrow. I'll like us to meet up and chat." I said, already on the process of turning on the computer that was in the hotel room.

"Of course. I'm in L.A., but I can get a flight for tomorrow." She said,

"Ok, we can meet at my condo the one close to Lakeside Park." I said and she agreed.

"I'll see you then, Azmarie. I'm so glad that we're finally gonna be able to see each other and I'll finally see your baby bump." Lilly said, sounding excited.

"I'm excited as well, Lilly. You know where the spare key is. Bye." I said before hanging up.

Quickly getting a flight ticket, I checked my mail and decided to start on a wedding.

Emailing the couple back that happened to want their wedding Dallas, I finish and walk into the kitchen to get something to munch on.

Come tomorrow, Andruis wasn't isn't going to find me on this island. I'm going to be far away, getting my life back on track. Without him.
