(AZMARIE'S POV)

Putting the plan to work was easy at first.

Finding a doctor and going to regular checkups was a breeze. There was nothing wrong with my baby and I was more than relieved.

Picking a city to live was slightly different, but after much debate and randomly choosing, I decided to stay in Dallas until I turn nine months and for six months after the baby is born. For now I'll be freely traveling without working myself too much or hard.

Now getting back to work was slightly difficult because I'd gotten lazy and there was soooo much work to get down.

So much that I had to get another assistant which Lilly was helping in because technology, the new assistant would be assisting her in assisting me.

"Alright, this girl is a recent college graduate from Columbia. Her name is Maddy Bittman. She 21 and studied psychology and communications and business. Great qualities in an assistant, huh." Lilly said as she lay on the couch in my room.

Files of applications lay around her as she gleefully looked them over with a glass of wine.

I laughed at her as I work on a small wedding in the city while drinking orange juice. The unfortunate thing about pregnancy is that I can't indulge in wine while drowning myself in work.

"Oooh, listen to this one. 20 year old guy. Jeremy Vallen. Graduated from Austin, Texas and studied designing and management." Lilly said,

"Sounds good, but honestly Lilly. Pick the one you like. They'll be your assistant after all." I stated, already half way through with picking a good wedding spot and flowers.

"Yeah, but they'll be assisting you so it's also to your liking." She replied,

"True." I commented, nodding my head.

"I think its between Maddy and Jeremy. They both have great potential and have amazing quality and aspirations." Lilly sighed,

"Great! Now choose one." I said,

There was a long pause before she cried out and downed her last bit of wine.

"I can't! They both sound so good." She groaned,

"Maddy can cook, has taken fashion classes and has taken fashion classes. She can type 65 wpm and can really communicate with the clients."

"Jeremy, on the hand, can manage the documents and prices that I suck at. He's young and recently graduated from a close college. He likes to do woodworking and can work well under pressure. His GPA is really high too." Lilly said and I could understand her confusion.

"That's all what people have written. Why don't we see how well they work. One day with Maddy and the next with Jeremy. See who can their best and do as much in just one day. That should help." I suggested,

Lilly sighed and thought of the idea.

"Yeah, that could work! I'll start typing up the email to send them and we can make easier on them by providing any necessary things and pay for their hotel and other stuff . It's the least we can do." Lilly said, grabbing her laptop and began to work.

I shook my head at her. She was more excited at getting an assistant than I was. Maybe because the pile of work I always give her to do which I don't mean to. I honestly didn't care about who to pick. As long as they did their best and could work well with hehe hassle my life brought. I had more shit to deal with in my life at the moment.

"I'm going to go get more juice." I stated as I got up and walked out the room.

Lilly responded something like a grunt, but I didn't really hear her.

Opening the fridge, I grabbed the orange juice and refilled the cup.

Just as I was about to put it back in the fridge, I noticed a figure learning against the wall.

"Hello to you too, Andruis." I mumbled,

The fridge light, shined lightly giving me a bit of light despite the darkness of the kitchen.

He silently straightened and walked over.

His face was stern and he seemed paler than usual or was it just the darkness that made him seem so.

"Azmarie." He gruffy said,

I closed the fridge and walked over to my cup.

"What do you want?" I asked not looking at him.

"I want you to come back." He stated as if it was the easiest thing on earth.

"No." I stated, glaring at him now.

He sighed and walked around the counter, coming to stand just beside me.

His body radiated off heat onto me, making me want to step into his warm embrace, but I fought it.

"Why are you being so stubborn? Yes, we fought and I got mad, but that doesn't mean we can't work it out. I still love you, Azmarie and I know you do too." He stated, grabbing my arm and made me look at him.

"No, Andruis! It's not just the fight. I'm upset at how you keep me imprisoned on the island as if I was some fragile glass. My life has been taken and being controlled by everyone else, but me. I have a career and goals and aspirations!" I said frustrated and pulled away from his grip.

"You don't know what you want, Andruis! You're not sure of anything except for your work and responsibilities as a King. You proposed and I said yes because I truly loved you and still do! But I'm not going to be handing myself entirely to you like nothing and be ok with you. Not anymore. So I'm going to be on my own, fixing my life for both me and our child. You can be part of it if you want, but only when you pick up your act." I said,

He was silent for a moment before nodding his head.

"Alright, if that's the way you want it, then ok." He said,

"Thank you." I said, grabbing my drink and walked back to the room, leaving him on his own.
