I opened my eyes, feeling groggy. Lifting my head off my pillow, I felt a sudden sharp pain at the back of my head. I screeched in pain when a door came flying open with Alex running towards me, concern drawn on his face.

  "Are you okay?"

  "My head feels like diddledoo."

He gave me a curious look, obviously not understanding my strange ways of speaking.

"Uhh, okay. Well you were taken yesterday and uh, he hit your head. Pretty hard."

  "Oh. You mean Scarface?"

  "Scarface? Oh, you mean Sebastian?"

I tensed at the sound of his name rolling off of Alex's tongue in familiarity.

"That was Sebastian? Huh, he's changed."

"You've met him before? How's he different now than before? "

"To answer your first question, yes, I know him. He worked with my dad in The Brotherhood.  Your second question, when I last saw him which was at Dad's funeral, he didn't have a huge scar on his face nor was he so huge."

I began to lay back onto the soft pillow before I became curious as to why he was in my room or in my unit at all.

"How'd you get into my unit?"

"I didn't, this is mine. I couldn't get into yours because I needed your handprint but you were unconscious."

"Oh, yea. You do know you could've just placed my palm on the screen and it would've worked perfectly fine, right?" I trailed awkwardly.

"Oh..," his ears turned a slight shade of pink.

I laughed at his expense probably because I was delirious with the pain or because I was just losing my mind.

I tried getting up but that led to me falling back down on the bed. I looked around Alex's room. It was the same as the last time I came here but it still felt as if I hadn't seen it before.

  "Are you hungry? Thirsty?"

"I'm a bit hungry but can you bring some painkillers? My brain is about to explode!" I groaned.

"Okay, I'll be back. Stay in bed and try not to move. We don't know if you're extremely injured or not yet."

I nodded then turned around on bed and faced the wall, hearing the sound of his footsteps walking away. As soon as his footsteps became distant, I sprinted quietly, against Alex's wishes, to the bathroom to look at my appearance in one of the cabinet's reflectors.

I saw dark, purple circles beneath my eyes, swollen with sleep and exhaustion. My hair was a total mess but it wasn't too bad. I turned my head to the side to try to get a look at supposed bump on my head from last night. I saw a dark blue hill on the back of my head when I moved my hair around it. The blood had dried, leaving it a dark crimson. My clothes were wrinkled from the pressure of my body while I had slept.

I took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Okay, you're okay. You're strong. It was just Sebastian trying to kidnap you. No big deal," I whispered to myself, trying to not let Alex hear me.

I came out of the bathroom to run into Alex walking towards the bedroom. He spilled the contents of the glass over the rim that he was holding and I was able to hear the soft pink pink of the two capsules he had held in his palm.

"Oh! Sorry I just needed to use the bathroom," I explained lamely, trying to hide the fact I had not listened to him.

"It's okay. How'd you know where the bathroom was?"
