Him, and a Case

--Time Skip to the night of Sasayama's murder (Specimen Case)--

Third Person POV

"Sasayama! This is an order! Come back here!" Kogami shouted.

He ran after Sasayama with Ginoza and (Y/N) running after him. He ran into the alleyway.

"Ko! You moron, get back here" Ginoza shouted.

"I have to find him!" Kogami shouted back.

The three ran and ran until they stopped to breathe. Ginoza sniffed the air.

"I think I smell blood" He said.

"Me too" Kogami and (Y/N) agreed. They started to run once again to the smell. Once they started to get closer, everyone but Kogami started to walk. He disappeared into the alley and then a loud cry was heard.

"Shit" And with that, the couple ran towards Kogami.

Kogami's POV

I ran and ran towards the smell of blood. I have already left Ginoza and (Y/N) behind. I ran to an alley and saw it. Pools of blood and a mangled Sasayama. I cried. My friend was murdered. Gone. Soon I heard running footsteps towards me and saw Ginoza and (Y/N). He covered (Y/N)'s eyes.

"Kogami! Don't let your hue get clouded!"

"It's already to late" I said.

"No! Don't say that. Baka-"

"It's already to late! I can feel it!"

Then I heard a dominator. I turned around and saw (Y/N) pointing it at me. Her eyes widened in shock.

"O-One hundred" She said.

"What? No! It can't be" Ginoza said, "You idiot!"

Ginoza pulled out his dominator.

"I'm sorry" And with that I fell to the floor. My body went numb and everything turned black.

--Time Skip--

"So.. You're an enforcer for Division 1 now?" (Y/N) asked me.

"Yeah. It's better than sitting around waiting to die. At least with this I can be more free"

"(Y/N), don't talk to the dog" Ginoza interrupted us.

"Babe, that isn't a dog. That's a person"

"So? He should be with the dogs tho-"

"Gino! Don't say that! It's rude to say that"

"Tch. Whatever" And Ginoza left the room.

"I'm sorry Ko. He's just having a hard time"

"Its ok, who would've blamed him?"

"You're right.. I guess.."

High Stress Level Area decoded. All working Inspectors and Enforcers please come to the area. Thank you.

"Well. That's me" (Y/N) said. "Bye Ko" And she left for the new crime scene.

I waited and waited in the white room, for someone to come pick me up. I was lonely and bored all the while. So I decided to take a nap, before I started my new life as an Enforcer.
