"Michael!" I erupted into laughter as his slight kisses trailed down to my cheeks.
"They're just so kissable princess." He laughed a much heavier laugh and I couldn't help but stare into his striking green eyes.
There were only a few things that I was absolutely certain about.
•Soon, i'd be attending Juilliard, the worlds best performing arts school.
•I'm having a baby with a man that I'm utterly and completely in love with.
•And that I had a wedding to be planning.
I took another glance as Michael kissed my cheek again and I couldn't help but remember my life a couple months ago without him. I can't say that my life was miserable, because my mom is the bravest and strongest mom in this world, and she raised me and spoilt me rotten. Despite the fact that she raised me alone. I was wildly popular in high school, although that meant nothing to me. I had a couple of friends that I held dear and close me. Lynette, my best friend, being like my sister. I had an pretty good life, but looking at my life now compared to then: it's like looking at night and day.
Michael's lips found my own as he pecked then repeatedly.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked while snaking his arms around my waist and tugging me closer.
"I was thinking about how happy my life is. How I wouldn't change a thing about it." A huge grin plastered on his face and his lips attacked mine furiously.
I pulled away after a few minutes and he groaned.
"As much as i'd love to lay in bed and make out with you all day, you have to get ready to go in for work, and I'm hungry." I stated and got out of bed. Putting a little extra sway to my hips.
My feet left the warmth of the bedroom carpet as I walked down the cherry wooden stairs. I started thinking of things on my appetite list and peanut butter rested at number one.
Quickly I pulled out the peanut butter and got the jelly from the fridge and plastered them together onto some white bread and poured some milk.
I didn't even get to take a bite before Michael walked into the room.
"Okay honey, our business is having a charity event Saturday and me being the owner, I have to attend so you need to find a dress. And these things can start becoming pretty frequent so get more than one. And we have a doctors appointment tomorrow at one right?" He asked fighting with his tie. I nodded then giggled and started to help him with his tie.
"Okee dokee. Any specific colored dresses?" He shook his head no and placed a long lingering kiss on my lips before pulling on his suit jacket and grabbing his suitcase.
"I gotta go princess. I love you." I smiled before waving as he jogged out the door.
My fiancé.
•••
It didn't take me too long to order a few dresses on line and to finish up cleaning the house.
My mind brought me to remember my best friend. And I really missed her. I dialed up her number hurriedly and waited until she answered.
"Who is this stranger calling me?" Lynnette laughed whole heartily from the other line.
