"Ma'am are you alright?" The cab driver asked me and I nodded slightly looking out the window.

"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for asking. I need you to pull up at the Hampton Inn hotel while I go up and get my stuff and then I'll show you the way to my fathers. Is that alright?" She nodded and then I hopped out as she stopped at hotel. I smiled at her and then walked up the steps. I glanced to my right and Michael's blue mustang immediately caught my eye.

Oh boy. He got here first.

I walked silently to the receptionists. "Can I get an extra key to room 124?" The man shifted for a second then turned around and pulled out a card, handing it over in the process.

I walked over to the elevator and pressed the third floor and waited patiently for it to ding. Once the doors opened up my phone rang for about the tenth time since I left Michael's parents place.

"Hello?" I answered thinking it's best not to ignore him anymore.

"Andy I'm sorry." Michael cried and I held my breath to keep myself from breaking down.

"Michael I'm going upstairs to get my stuff. I'm kind of in a hurry." Then I hung up and pushed the key into the slot. I shut the door behind me.

"Andy?" Michael muttered and his figure showed up in the doorway. I looked up at his tear stained face and instantly guilt swam through my veins.

"It me." I said and grabbed my bag then started throwing my clothes and stuff in it.

"Don't leave please don't. I'm sorry Princess. You're more a part of my family then any of those other in laws. I didn't mean it, I was just mad and took it out on you."

"Baby I understand that. But I wasn't kidding when I said that we moved to fast. We've got a house that were renovating, a baby that's growing, a wedding to plan, and it's just all so much to have on a plate at once." I said and grabbed his hands. I sat on the edge of the bed and pulled his down beside me. "Look I love you Michael but I'm only 17, this is a lot to take in. I just want some time to think. Okay? Give me some time." His eyes held so much hurt but still he nodded his head.

"Alright." He muttered. I put hands up to cup his face and leaned in to place a sweet kiss on his lips.

"I'll see you around okay?" He nodded once again and I got up and left.

The cab pulled up into my fathers driveway and I got my stuff and walked to the door. I stood there for about 5 minutes crying before I worked up the nerve to ring the doorbell.

"Who's waking me up this late?" My fathers angry voice spoke and I wiped my eyes.

"Daddy?" I said and I realized it was the first time i addressed him as my dad.

"Oh sweetheart." He whispered and pulled me into his arms.

"I can't do it anymore dad." I cried into his shoulder and he wrapped his arms tighter around me. We stayed like that for a while and then eventually we made our way into the house.

"Honey, it'll be okay. Tell me what happened." We say down on the couch and I explained what happened to his sister and everything. "If I tell you a story you can't tell him I told you. Alright?" I nodded and he continued. "The reason Maggie and Michael are so close is because of their uncle. Earlier on when they were around 10 and 11 his mom and dad were real busy with work so their uncle Jason watched them. So one day me and Michael came in a little late because we were playing football in the schoolyard and we found out Jason raped Maggie. Her own uncle raped her. But of course, Michael blamed himself for not coming home on time and long story short, they've been close ever since. He doesn't let anyone hurt her. So when you stopped him from hurting chase, it was a sort of In the moment kind of thing. Don't be too rough on him." I gasped with my hand to my mouth and shook my head. All that happened tonight plus me and me breaking up with him would really hurt someone. I'm an idiot.
