On a sunny Saturday morning, Mila was in her bedroom doing her makeup and fixing her hair when she got a text from Diego.

From: Diego
To: Mila
I'm outside. I'm waiting

Mila quickly grabbed her purse and ran down the hallway and to the stairs that ended right in front of the front door. When she was halfway down the stairs, Mila heard her mom calling to her from the kitchen.

"Mila! Where you going?!"

Mila sighed. "Alyssa's outside! We're going to the mall. We're window shopping."

Mila waited anxiously for her mother's answer until she heard a

"Okay. Be safe."

Mila sprinted out the front door and to Diego's pickup truck that was parked on the side of the road. Mila quickly hopped in and greeted the Hispanic boy with a kiss.

"You look nice. You ready to go?" He asked with his signature smirk.

Mila nodded. "Mmhmm. I'm ready."

Diego pulled off and drove away to go to their date that they had planned for that morning.

Meanwhile, Jessica was laying across a bed with her blanket wrapped around her body. When she heard an alarm clock ringing, her eyes slowly opened. Jessica looked around her until she saw a hand turn off the alarm clock.

Jessica smiled as she looked up and saw Stephen standing there in a pair of red sweatpants. "Morning, sunshine. You hungry? I'm making breakfast."

Jessica sat up as she kept her soft smile on her lips. "Yeah. Want some help?"

"Nah, I got it." Stephen leaned down and kissed her cheek before walking out of the room.

Jessica unwrapped her blanket from her body before standing up and looking back at Stephen's bed that she fell asleep on last night. They had been studying for an upcoming test that they had before they both fell asleep. Stephen had put a blanket on her and slept on the floor himself.

Jessica took her hair out of its bun before she walked out of the bedroom, down the short hallway, and into the kitchen.

When she walked in, Jessica could hear Hebrew music playing from the speakers that were connected to his phone.

"I like this song. It's beautiful." Jessica smiled. She sat down at the small kitchen table that was by the window and listened.

Stephen just quietly hummed along to the song while he walked around the kitchen cooking eggs and bacon.

When the song ended, Stephen had finished cooking. Another song played on the speakers which only Stephen could understand.

"When're your parents coming back?" Jessica asked quietly since she could tell Stephen liked the song.

Stephen swallowed his food and got up to get another plate. "Around 2 o'clock. They went to work early today so we can go out as a family later. Maybe go to dinner." He shrugged.

Jessica pushed her plate a couple inches away from her since she was done. When Stephen noticed her half eaten plate of food, he took her plate and slid the food onto his own.
