I went to the new house my parents had bought in downtown STL. It was a two story, small house that's was a bit rickety and dusty, so it could use some work.
We got right away unpacking our things and cleaning up the place. We ended up buying paint and some new floor tiles.
We got through the whole bottom story of the house. Then we decided to call it a day. I slept upstairs and the bed was really shaky and springey, and just... flat out bad. We're going to replace all of our beds soon.*****THE NEXT DAY*****
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! "UGGHH!" I groaned as my new alarm clock beeped me up out of my dream.
I had a new alarm clock that was more annoying. I debated on wether to hit the snooze button or not. I ended up clicking the stop button and started getting ready for school. I put on a plain black t-shirt and some ripped blue jeans. I then got a text from Julier.Have fun @ school!
I responded,
You 2. See yah.
I then headed off to the school. I said goodbye to my parents and I walked off to the bus stop. At the bus stop there was one other boy there. And I said I would sick to my promise that I didn't want to get a new boyfriend, but god damn, he was HOT! I sat down next to him and he looked over at me.
"Oh, hey. You new to the school?" he said.
"Yeah, I'm Tony." I hand out my paw.
"I'm Alex." He shakes my paw.
Alex is a Siberian husky, about 5'6. He looked about as handsome then Julier, but.. hotter, somehow.
I was starting to regret saying I would keep Julier as my boyfriend.
"So, are you new around here?" Alex asked.
"Yeah, we just moved in." I responded.
"Oh wow, from where?"
"New York City."
"Wow! I've always wondered what it's like up there."
"Well, let's just say that traffic is a common occurance." We both shared a good chuckle.
Then the bus arrived.
"Wanna sit next to me?" Alex said.
"Sure, why not?" I responded.
We both got on and sat in a seat near the front.
"So, uh, what's that necklace about? Anything special?"
My necklace! I had forgotten to take it off the night before!
"Oh, i- it's just nothing, heh heh." I took off the necklace and shoved it in my pocket. I just hoped he wouldn't notice a tattoo I have on my leg.
You see, when I was around 9, I got a pride flag tattoo from a cheesy corner store back in NYC. The guy said it was temporary and it turned out to be permanent. I kept it so it could be a sign of who I was.
I've kept it for all these years and I never had plans to get it removed. It will just stick with me until I can get a real, professional pride tattoo on my shoulder or something.
We sat in silence the entire bus ride until we reached school.
