We arrived at school. It was bigger than I had expected.
"Here, I'll show you where to go." Alex said.
"Okay." I responded.
He lead me down to the main entrance.
"No one goes here in my morning, that's why it's always empty in the morning."
"Why?"
"Because no classes are here. Only go here if necessary."
"Ah. So who do I talk to?"
"Annie. She's up at the front desk."
I looked up at the desk. Annie was an Arctic Fox 6'1 and seemed to be very young.
"Just ask her for things for new people."
"Alright thanks."
"Bye."
I walked up to her.
"Uh, excuse me?" I said shyly.
"Hm? Oh hi, how can I help you?"
"Uh.. can I have some stuff for new kids? I'm new here."
"Oh, okay. What's your name?"
"Tony Wellmeir."
She started typing stuff on her computer and gave me some books and pencils.
"Have fun!"
"Thanks"
I looks at the books.
There was a schedule and some info about the school. I put it in my backpack.
I walked back until I found my class.
I looked around to get used to my classmates. I saw Alex in the corner with the only empty desk next to him. He waved at me and motioned to sit in the desk next to him. I set my book bag down next to my desk.
"You got the stuff?" He said.
"Yeah, I'll have to study the schedule."
I responded.
"It's not that hard when you get used to it." We both shared a good chuckle.
Then a female lynx came into the room. Everyone became quiet. I assumed she was the teacher for the class. She sat down at the desk in front of the class. She then said,
"Class we have a new student with us. Tony, would you raise your hand?" she said.
I shyly raised my hand.
"So, please don't give him any trouble."
Class went on, I kept getting told "Were you learned this?" by the teacher, but I am new, to be fair.
Than lunch time came. I packed my own lunch. Just an Italian sub, apple and Coke. Nothing much. I sat down at a table. Alex than sat next to me.
"So, how's your first day been?" he said.
"Eh, same as the last school except more conformation from me."
"Yeah. Well, it's kinda expected."
"Yeah, yeah.."
"But, what was with that necklace?"
"My best friend gave it to me."
"He gave you it with a heart?"
"Uhh..." I didn't know what to say, and I didn't want to come out yet! But, I guess I had to.
"Well, it isn't my friend."
"Is it from your parents?"
"No."
"Girlfriend?"
"No."
"Then who else could- wait.... Are you... gay?"
I looked down in despair. "Y- yeah... I didn't want to te-"
He then hugged me.
"I knew I wasn't the only one!"
