While we walked home and we looked at all the wreckage. It melts getting more minor as we approached the house. It was not even touched. A miracle I would say. We walked in and only saw a few things moved a bit.
"Uh.. you can stay upstairs with Tony if you want... and I suspect you won't be going to school any time soon...." my mom said.
"Thank you ma'am. I'll go upstairs." Alex said.
"I'll go up too." I said.
We both walked upstairs and sat on my bed.
"I don't have another mattress, so unless if you want to sleep on the floor, than you'll have to sleep with me." I said.
"It's fine, I mean, we are boyfriends now." Alex said.
"Yeah..."
"So what do we do now?"
I looked at my TV. "We can watch a movie or something."
"Do you have any?"
"Yep, be right back."
I walked downstairs and went in the closet to grab the box full of movies, when I heard someone from the hallway. I looked over. It was my father.
"Hi dad." I said, taking the box out.
He pushed it back in the closet. I looked at him with anger and confusion.
"Why did I let my son bring his boyfriend into my house.." he said under his breath.
"I can hear you, you know?" I said.
"Oh I know. I also know that I have a knife in my pocket."
"Wh- wh- what are you gonna do with it?" I said getting ready to make a run for it.
"So I can slash your neck open and watch my faggot son die a slow and painful death."
I bolted out of there, running upstairs and shutting the door behind me. Alex stood up in shock.
"Get something heavy and put it against the door, NOW!" I yelled. I felt my dad banging on the door.
"Open up you faggot cunt!" he yelled.
Alex quickly grabbed my dresser and pushed it against the door. I stepped away. That should be heavy enough.
I saw a butcher knife go through the door a couple of times and heard a sigh and walking downstairs.
"I think... we're safe..." I said in between breaths.
I never knew my own father would lash out at me like that. I felt like crying. I felt pain even though the knife didn't touch me. It was emotional pain. Very emotional pain.
