Why Him?

Finn's POV

Flashback
It all happened so abruptly. We were playing around, than we hit black ice. I assured Maya that the everything was going to be Ok. Before I could finish she passed out.

We drove off the side of the road. The car tumbled down a little hill into a ditch. Luckily for me I was wearing a seatbelt. Although, my side did hurt. I guess I hit it against something. Once my vision cleared there was no Maya next me. "Oh god, please." I though as I looked over to see her through the windshield, bleeding out. I looked for my phone and called 911.

I could barley open my eyes. Something was wrong, I could tell. Even without seeing I herd the doctors rushing around me. "Someone call Dr. Keen!" One of the nurses yelled.

"Wha... Wh..." I tried to talk, nothing came out.

"Shh." A doctor told me, "Mr. Amber, you have some internal bleeding. We called you mother, she's on her way now."

Lucas's POV

As they rushed Finn away I stayed with Maya. "Wh... What is ha... Happen... Happening to..." She could barley talk since she just got out of a major surgery.

"I'm not quite sure." I was telling the truth. Peter said what he felt for Maya and Finn just collapsed.

"Doooo... You thi... Think he is..."

"Not sure?" I told her as I brushed some hair out of her face. Peter was still there looking out the door to see if anything important was happening to Finn.

"Guys, he needs surgery!" We all looked stunned. Why would he need this if he didn't get injured, like Maya? I thought to myself.

Maya tried to get out of her bed when I wasn't looking. She collapsed onto the floor and Peter ran to her. "Maya!" He yelled. I turned around to see her coughing. The coughing seemed to get worse and all the sudden she started coughing up blood. I shouted for a doctor or nurse. Peter ran out to get someone since no one was coming.

"Maya. Calm down!" I assured her.

Maya's POV

Everything is so overwhelming! Finn is sick, Peter still loves me, Lucas has feelings for me, and I just was I a car crash! 

I needed to see what was going on with Finn so I tried to get out of bed, but my legs could barley keep me up right. I fell to the ground and Peter came rushing over. I automatically started coughing and couldn't stop. I looked and saw my breathing cord was disconnected. Eventually I started coughing up blood.

My night gown got red, really fast. Lucas lifted it up and saw that some of my stitches fell apart. Peter came back with a nurse and she hit my 911 button, which meant that this was serious.

Hours pasted and I woke up in my hospital bed. My mom, Lucas, Riley, Farkle, and the Matthews were all the there.

"Hey, um... How's Finn?" I asked everyone.

"Peaches!" Riley said on the verge of tears and hugged me.

"What happened?" I was so confused.

"Finn is fine. Do you remember anything?" My mom said.

"All I remember is my stitches coming apart, and coughing up blood. Why'd you ask?"

"Oh thank god! The doctor told us when you woke up, you may not remember anything. Looks like everything is fine." Riley sighed.
