Scott got up from the bed, and headed towards the window. He rested his hands in the rail behind him, and looked at Link.
"Go stand by the bathroom door, honey," he ordered. The bathroom door was exactly opposite Scott, and he watched as Link climbed out of bed shaking, and leaning against the wall.
"Come on Link, use them muscles and stand properly."
Link edged off the wall and stood up straight, trying to just obey Scott as best as he could.

"Your therapy is to help you trust people. Mainly, me," Scott explained. "If you get through today's session successfully, you'll trust your life with me."
Link was silent, as Scott turned around, facing the window.
"Take your gown off, please."
"B-but-" Link stuttered-
"Don't worry, I can't see you. Just take your gown off, otherwise it's more punishments."

Link trembled as he reached behind him to untie the gown. When he took out all the knots, the gown fell to the floor, leaving Link standing in the cold room, down to his underwear.

"A blank canvas," Scott said aloud. He tapped his fingers on the rail, and bit his lip.
"Link, sweetie, this will be hard for you."
Link breathed lightly, in and out, not saying a word. He was almost naked behind a man he barely knew at all.
"Link, you are going to repeat after me, like last time," Scott said, still tapping.

"I do not like Rhett."
Link shook his head, reaching down, and grabbing his gown. He fiddled it with his fingers, and tears formed in the corners of his eyes.
"I- I do- do not like Rhett," he said.

"Close your eyes, and picture him in your mind. Think of every detail, and force yourself to hate it," Scott ordered.
Link felt numb, and faint, but he did as he was told.
'Maybe this therapy will work' Link thought.

He squeezed his eyes shut, and pictured Rhett in his mind. He was at the door of his room, holding his phone in his left hand, and a can of soda in his right. Link forced his broken mind, to hate every little part. His hair, eyes, stature, clothes, his smile..

Whilst Link's eyes were still closed, Scott spun around without warning. He saw Link standing still, grasping his gown. His pale, paper white chest was exposed, his slender arms, and vivid collar bones. Scott took a few deep breaths, and muttered to himself. 'He's so gorgeous.' 'He's beautiful.'
He saw the marks he left on Link's neck, and the scars up and down his arms. 'He's too innocent to do that.'
He saw his scruffy hair and lopsided glasses on his face. 'Adorable.'

"Link, open your eyes."
Link obeyed, and saw Scott, facing towards him. Suddenly, a wave of thoughts crashed in his mind. 'Why does he look, nice?'
Link felt like he was brainwashed. Scott stared at him, and Link stared right back.
"Well done," Scott smiled.

"Repeat after me again."
"I don't need Rhett."
Link felt no difficulty at all to repeat.
"I don't need Rhett."

"Link, you look, beautiful."
Scott slowly walked towards Link, and he didn't move at all.
"Repeat after me. I like you."

"I like you," Link smiled.
Link smiled.

Scott held Link's hands, and brought him back to his bed. He climbed back in, and Scott sat beside him.
"Merry Christmas, beautiful," Scott said, and they both connected their lips.
Link felt numb, but passionate at the same time. He felt as if Scott was controlling his mind, but he wasn't complaining. He felt happy.
