Endlessly

You make me feel as if I am a part of the sky, an angel of some sorts.
And when you speak to me, my name leaves your lips and it is as if the stars are no longer gleaming in the distance
But they are glowing across my skin in electric sparks
Dancing across my body, and even though it should burn me I've never felt more at home.
Your lips contoured into seas shaped into tranquility
From the tide, your words overflow
These are more than just bodies of water, but an ingenue and then turned to nihilism
Undulations of the stars, the moon
Intertwined in heat and skin
Gracefully weighed down but still heavy, caving into my internal cavity.
To and fro, I plead for you and beg for my clear blue skies.
A barrage of burdens lost in this endless sky. It is now worthless and void, but I can still hear your voice in the moon.
