I am a feminist
I am bestowed upon this title for the way I talk
For the way I act
Because I believe that women aren't sex toys
And I believe we are not objects
I am a feminist
At least that's what they tell me
Because I believe a man isn't weak when they cry because they feel pain
And I believe that a person could wear whatever they want but only they hold the right to touch their body
I believe that when we wear short skirts, we wear them for ourselves
I do not wear them for you to touch me
I do not wear them to be known as a slut
I wear them for myself and only myself
I am a feminist
I believe that if you claim a man or woman touched you without your consent, that they are known as a rapist
A molester
A sexual offender
The only proof I will ask is for you to show me where it happened
And I'll believe your story no matter what
I am a feminist
In a world full of hate and crime
Because in a world like that
I am a feminist
