I closed the door behind me. My mom walked out of her room.
"Kyran, I need to tell you somethings. They are very important and it's gonna change your life." She hesitated. "I see Aspen found you to give you the letter." She just stared at me before she continued. "Let's sit down, and discuss everything I need to tell you." We sat down and in an hour's time she told me everything. My mom and dad are vamps. How could this even be possible?  My head is spinning right now. So much information at one little time. I walked to my room to lay down on my bed. As I opened my letter a plane ticket to Ireland fell onto my floor.

When I asked if my life couldn't get any weirder, it just suddenly had.
Who am I supposed to be now? Kyran the weird vampling, as my mom called it. I thought vamps couldn't have babies? I have so many questions and yet not all the answers. Maybe a nap will help me calm down. I laid my head on my fluffy pillow and closed my eyes.
A couple hours had passed by. I felt better, I guess for the most part. I slowly sat up, and stretched my arms up over my head as usual. I stood up and walked toward the bathroom. When I got there, I noticed something very different about myself. I stared at my reflection. My eyes, they suddenly began to turn emerald green from the ugly brown color I had this morning. My hair wasnt a frizzy curly mess anymore, and it began to change to a deeper shade of red. Wow, I definitely don't look like me anymore. I had to admit, I looked pretty though. Walking out from the bathroom and just then my mom had seen me. Her mouth instantly dropped, as if she had seen a ghost.

"what?" I asked her.

"You...you can't change yet. It's only been a couple hours since you got the letter. We've got to get you to Ireland and fast." She stuttered to get her whole sentence out. Mom ran around the house packing everything I'd need for my new school. The poor woman looked like a chicken with its head cut off. I stayed out of her way until she was finished. Packed everything into the van. We finally got into the car and off to the airport we went.
