"what are you thinking about?" ava asked, noticing that joji's mind started to wander.

"you." he stated.

"what about me?" she tilted her head in confusion.

"just that i really want to do this," joji paused before leaning over top of ava and stopping there.

"do what?" she teased.

joji leaned down attaching his lips to hers, she wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him closer.

the two were startled when someone knocked on the door, joji quickly got up and sat on the edge of the bed.

"come in." ava chimed.

"can we talk?" ian smiled weakly.

"yeah. joji could you excuse us please?" ava asked.

joji nodded and headed downstairs.

"i'm just here to apologize and talk, okay?" ian urged, sitting next to ava on her bed.

"i'm sorry. i didn't mean to hit him i was just really pissed that you guys kept it from me."

ava stayed silent and nodded.

"why didn't you guys tell me?" ian questioned.

"we didn't want anything to change or be weird." ava spoke up.

"how long have you guys been together?" ian asked fiddling with his hands.

"almost five months." ava replied blankly.

this time ian stayed silent.

"jesus christ, ian. anymore questions?" ava asked getting aggravated.

"um, yeah actually just one more. why are you with him?" ian turned to face ava.

"he makes me happy," ava paused.

"really happy." ava resumed again after a few seconds of silence.

ian slowly nodded his head and then left the room.

"hey, let's piss my brother off." ava chuckled, grabbing joji's attention.

"keep talking." joji smirked.

"he's in the room right next to us." ava spoke, now standing on her bed.

joji layed on the bed confused as ava started jumping and making the bed shake.

"oh, shit." joji stifled a laugh.

"FUCK!" ava screamed shaking the bed faster.

"ava, are you trying to get us both killed? again?" joji pulled her down onto the bed.

"hey, what was that for?" ava frowned.

"why fake it when we can do the real thing right now?" joji whispered leaving a trail of kisses down ava's neck.

"what happened to not wanting to get killed by ian?" ava teased.

"geez, nothing to kill a perfectly good boner like bringing up your brother before sex." joji exhaled a deep breath.

"maybe i could fix that." ava whispered, climbing on top of joji, kissing his neck.

"mhmm" joji hummed contently.

"or maybe we could just go get food." ava jumped up and walked to the door.

"you coming?" ava asked innocently.

"i wish." joji mumbled.

"what was that?" ava asked sarcastically.

"yes, my lady." joji said with his most sophisticated voice.

car rides with joji were ava's favorite thing.

whether it's a silent, peaceful car ride or a loud one consisting of them rapping old songs obnoxiously.

"where to?" joji asked, buckling his seatbelt.

"i could really eat a burger right now." ava thought out out loud, watching the cars pass.

joji couldn't help but watch her, everything she does is intriguing to him.

after moments of sitting at the traffic light ava turned to joji who was still watching her, "green means go." ava chuckled.

"shit," joji mumbled under his breath while his face heated up.

"stop being so cute." ava chuckled.

joji smiled graciously at the kind compliment and intertwined their hands placing them on ava's thigh.

"this is the perfect spot." joji  spoke quietly, placing the bag of food on an old picnic table in the vacant park, overlooking a body of water.

"when i'm with you everything is perfect." ava grinned, leaning on joji's shoulder.

"you're a fucking cheese ball." joji laughed, resting his head on top of hers.

"want a bite?" ava asked waving the burger in front of joji's face.

"i'm good." joji happily declined.

ava took a huge bite of her burger "hey, that's pretty-"

"don't say it." joji pleaded.

"that's pretty good!" ava laughed while small chunks of food fall out of her mouth.

"god damn, that is so hot. how did i get so lucky?" joji laughed handing ava some napkins.

"i know. i know." ava shrugged her shoulders.

"okay, you almost ready to go?" joji yawned.

"can we wait a little longer the suns about to set?" ava asked looking up at joji.

joji nodded and wrapped his arm around her.

the sky started to swirl with bright pink and purple colors slowly fading.

ava sat infatuated with the sky unaware that she was also the subject of infatuation to someone else.

"it's so beautiful." she exhaled.

"very." joji spoke softly, still taking in his favorite view.

the sky now started to turn a dark blue color as the sun faded more and more.
