I notice things. Not like noticing that someone has moved your book from one side of the table to the other but noticing things about people. Their body posture, facial features or even little flaws. It seems creepy, yes, but it's not when it's just something you do. It's almost like being cautiously aware of your surroundings but with people. Some people can see a tiny spider descending from the ceiling in the middle of a room when they're at the front - I see that there is a freckle on the top of someone's nose. It isn't all that weird when you just see it accidentally, when you can't help but see it.

This is why I was confused. I couldn't notice anything about Alfie; It was as if I didn't recognise him at all. From his eyes to his smirk. None of it seemed natural, none of it seemed like him.

"Alfie, what do you mean? Are you okay?" I asked, stepping back a little. I was scared. I could feel a lump in my throat and felt like i was about to throw up. My legs were shaking slightly like i was on stilts. I felt like jelly: weak and wobbly.
Aflie took an advancing step towards me, smirking and sniggering.
"Don't worry Milly. No one I have will get hurt! Just leave now, before some one can"
His face was dark, not Alfie like at all. He was swaying side to side, slurring mixed up words. He was drunk.
"Alfie, please. I know Zoe is in hospital but you don't need to resort to... This! You'll just dig a deep hole only for you to jump in and never be able to get out. Zoe needs you to keep sane, i need you to keep sane!" I whispered loudly.
He looked up and stared at me, dead in the eye. His face unscrewed from a tight anger to a loose sadness. For the first time that evening, Alfie had looked like Alfie with out a Zoe.

A/n - These are going to come a lot slower, i apologise. I'm going to have to resort to writing these when i can, remember and want to. So much is going on and i have so much to do, i hope you all understand. Hope this was alright <3
