3 weeks later...

Oh god, not again...I jump out of bed and run to the bathroom as fast as I can while trying to remain calm.

"Happy, are you sick again?" Toby asks grossed out. I just moan in reply. "Happy, I think that you should go to the doctor. This has been going on everyday for the past three days. It could be serious." Toby says concerned.

"I'm not going to the doctor, Toby. I don't want to. Not today. Today is your birthday." I say.

"Fine, but tomorrow if this happens again, you have no choice." Toby says as he walks back to the bedroom. When the coast is clear, I grab the pregnancy test out from the cabinet. "I can't believe that I'm about to do this." I mutter to myself as I begin to pee on the stick. This is so nasty, ugh. When I'm done, I wait about 5 minutes for the results. I get myself ready to face reality and look down at the stick. "PREGNANT" the stick reads. I look down to my stomach and tears escape my eyes. But they aren't tears of sadness, they are tears of happiness. I decide to clean up the stick and put it in a gift box. Toby and I have been talking about kids for the past week, I don't know why, but maybe that was a sign. I brush my teeth and head to the bedroom with the stick in hand. Toby looks at me and I smile.

"Happy birthday, Doc." I say while giving him a kiss. Then, I hand him the gift box.

"Thank you, Hap." He takes the box and opens it slowly. Once it's opened, he looks at me and smiles. "You're pregnant?!" He asks excitedly.

"Yeah, I am." I say happily. He gets up and pulls me into a hug. He kisses the top of my head and says, "We are going to be amazing parents. This Quintis baby is going to live such a great life. I'm so excited, Happy!" I smile and just lay in his arms. "Happy?" He says.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Did you pee on this stick?" He asks.

"Yeah, why?" I say confused.

"Because I'm holding the stick still." He says while freaking out. I laugh. I guess I forgot to mention that I cleaned it, but I love when he freaks out about the smallest things. He doesn't leave, he just puts the stick down on the bed as he continues to hold me.

"Doc, can we not go in today?" I ask hopeful.

"I thought you would never ask." He says smiling. We then decide to have a lazy day and just watch movies while cuddling. I look down to my flat stomach and then to Toby. I smile. This is my family and WE are Team Quintis.
