I scrunched my sheets as I remembered what happened today. I know that I shouldn't read too much into it, but it must've meant something else.
Before I dashed outside to practically just hide under the warmth of my sheets at home, you suddenly called my name. I turned around to look at you, only to see your cheeks as red as Rudolph's nose. Your hands fidgeted, your lips quivered and then you let out a sigh. Before you could even say anything, I tousled your hair. "You can tell me anything. So, go on." I said that made you giggle.
"I really like being with you." You said, your cheeks are flushed. I know that it's odd for you to say this to me, because we've only established the 'we are friends' level. You wrapped your arms around me and buried your face to my chest. You mumbled something I can't decipher and then you unwrapped your hands from me.
I pulled the blanket over my head, the thought of you never failed to leave my head.
