You were out of breath when you finally caught up with Gabe. Well, you didn't exactly catch up. He had stopped in the center of the kitchen, facing you, and you didn't have time to slow down or stop, so you ran straight into him. He wrapped his arms around you so you wouldn't get away, but you weren't planning on it anyway."See, cupcake, now you're mine" he said into your hair. You thought that he sounded just a bit too serious so you decided to change the subject. "Gabe," you asked, "why do you call me things like 'sugar' and 'cupcake'?"
"It's 'cause I like all things sweet. And especially you." He said honestly. You pulled away from him just a bit, so you could look into his beautiful whiskey-colored eyes. "You being serious now?" you asked cautiously.
Gabriel was just about to answer when both of you heard a phone ring. He let you go so you could get it, but not before giving you a look that meant that you were going to continue whatever was going on later. You ran to the phone, hoping that it was your brothers and not someone else who was just looking for them.
"(Y/N)?" a deep voice asked. You sighed in relief. "Yeah, it's me, Sammy" you replied to your brother.
"I'm so sorry that we had to leave, but we're on our way back now. We'll be about an hour." He informed you. "It's okay, Sam, I'm..." you looked at Gabe, who was gesturing for you not to say anything about him. "I'm just having breakfast now." The archangel smiled at you. "Okay, see you in a bit", Sam said and hung up.
You sighed again. You hated lying to your brothers but you didn't want to do anything that Gabe wouldn't have liked.
"Aw, you're learning so fast", the angel said to you, pulling you closer to him again with his strong arms. "Why couldn't I just tell them who you are? I mean, you told me, right?" you asked , puzzled. Gabriel just shrugged, as if to say that that's not important. "But you're different (Y/N). I think I've told you that already", he said, raising an eyebrow.
It was weird. This was only your second day knowing him but you definitely felt an attraction to the hazel-eyed archangel. He seemed to genuinely care for you, which made your heart flutter and you felt lightheaded just from the thought that he could like you.
You had never had anyone do things for you. Apart from Sam and Dean, obviously, but they were different because they were your brothers. You had never had a boyfriend since you never stayed in the same place for more than a few weeks and then spent two years in the asylum. So yeah, this was different, and you liked it.
"Are you gonna eat those pancakes or not?" Gabriel asked you. You smiled at him and went over to the table.
You finished your breakfast quite quickly. Gabe didn't eat anything, just sat with you and sucked a lollipop. You felt really comfortable around him, so you were fine with eating while listening to him talk about his favorite candy.
"Damn, those were some good pancakes", you said after you finished the last one. When had you eaten a meal as good as that? You honestly couldn't remember.
There was a loud noise made by a the front door closing. It would take the Winchesters about ten seconds to get to the kitchen.
"I have to go, sweet cheeks" Gabriel whispered in your ear. "But I don't want you to go..." you replied, quietly enough just for him to hear. He smiled and kissed you on the cheek. "Just call me when you want" he whispered and disappeared.
You decided not to hang around in the kitchen and ran into the corridor. "Sam! Dean!" you shouted happily as you saw your brothers and leapt on them. "Whoa, little sis!" Dean choked out as he caught you. You gave both of your brothers a massive hug and then grinned when they pulled you off them. "What's up, (Y/N)?" Sam asked you. You looked at them sheepishly and explained, "I really missed you guys. I don't care what you say, I'm going on the next hunt with you."
