A/N okay sorry. Not the longest chapter but it's a quick update. Slowly losing a little bit of inspiration and slowly losing my ideas. Again, don't forget to leave a comment on what you think and don't forget to click that damn star!! I love and appreciate you all, and I hope you've all had an amazing holiday!
Austin holds my hand as we make our way onto our plane to Austin's dads house.
"You okay, babe?"
"Yep. I'm still not a fan of planes," I say as he chuckles and squeezing my hand.
I sigh as we get onto the plane and sit in our seats. I take a deep breath and trace the rose on my thigh. It's really lovely. Like extremely lovely. The shading, as details that are worked inside of it are incredibly amazing.
As the plan begins to lift off, I take another big breath and once again dig my nails into my thigh out of habit.
"You know that's not good for you, right?" Austin says prying my finger nails from my thigh.
I nod my head and turn to the window to look out over California. California is a gorgeous, and insanely remarkable place. Even though I'm more of the kind of girl who'd rather be living somewhere rainy, Cali is wonderful.
I wonder what it would be like to live in a cute little cottage house in the middle of the woods in some place like Washington or Oregon.
** just a few while later **
We jump into the taxi to go to Dan's house, and I cooly lay my head on Austin's shoulder. I am beyond nervous to be telling Dan that I'm preggers. Especially because I'm five months along.
"Austin?"
"Yeah baby?"
"How are we going to tell your dad about the little one?" I ask him with pleading eyes.
"I'm not sure baby. Let's just go with the flow. I mean you're getting pretty big now, so well have to do it early this week." He says taking a hold of my hand and grasping it tightly.
Within what seems like only a couple seconds we arrive at Dans house. I become extremely nervous as I see Dan rushing out of the house to come meet us.
"Austin! Lindsay!" He says giving us each huge hugs, "I've missed you both very much."
"Well we've missed you too," I tell him giving him a huge smile as Austin hands me my bag from the trunk of the taxi.
"Come, follow me, I'll show you were you and Austin will be staying for the week, here give me your bag." He says reaching out for my bag.
"No, no. Don't worry about it, I've got it," I tell him.
"No really I insist," he says as I hand over my bag.
I follow him into the decent sized, modern home. I follow him into the back hallway, and he opens a door revealing a blue room with many different posters hanging around the room.
"This was Austin's room when he was in high school," he says setting my bag on the bed.
He gives me a tour around the house, and shows me a couple of the pictures hanging around the house of him and Austin and some of him and Austin and Austin's mom and some of just him and Austin's mom. The way he talks about her like she's still alive is quite insane, and very adorable.
"Thanks for letting us come visit," I tell him giving him another hug, "it's good to see you again."
"You too Lindsay, you're like a daughter to me."
I blush slightly as Austin emerges from the hallway, and walks behind me putting an arm around my waist as if he's supporting my stomach.
"Hey dad, we have some news for you," Austin says as u quickly grab his hand.
"Yeah?"
"We're having a baby girl," Austin says with a huge smile on his face.
"R-really?" Dan stutters with a smile emerging from his face.
We both nod our heads as we gossip about the baby and possible names for her. And he's so happy about the little girl that he could care less that we aren't married or anything.
And it feels perfect.
So flawlessly perfect.
