It's been a week since the earthquake struck. My wound is healing, and I can walk but I limp. Today I decided to call a council meeting.
All the elders including my father and mother sat in the town hut.
"As you all know, an earthquake struck last week. And I know the reason," I said. Murmurs filled the hut. "Kahõkū has risen."
Everyone gasped.
"Again with the prophecies, Moana!" Tui stated, "How do we know if they are real?" FuiFui shot him a glare and the other elders solemnly nodded their heads.
"How did we know the heart was real? How did we know Maui was?" Moana's heart dropped st the mention of his name, "We didn't, yet we tried. And if we keep having wayward attitudes like my fathers, how will we accomplish anything?"
My father gives me a sharp glare but I continue.
"So I've developed a plan," I say, "I will go back to Te Fiti, have her reason with Kahõkū, and maybe Kahõkū will listen."
"Aisake can go with you!" My mother chirped in. I give a side smile but I see Aisake mouth the word no.
"I'm not a good way finder," Aisake stated, "I could get us lost or killed if I'm not careful." I sigh and mouth thank you to him.
I would not want to go with him.

If you haven't noticed, I have not been switching POV's and kept it on Moana POV. I like it better this way personally and I think it's easier to catch up with.
