She sat in the reef and watched her children play. The ocean rumbled her daughters' hair while her younger son tried to tackle the rising wave. Moana smiled at her oldest, Makai, (who was thirty in human years, but she looked only fifteen) gracefully hum while collecting seashells.

Her twins, Hau and Uta, (who where 22 in human years, yet looked 7) where splashing and playing. Moana herself was sixty years old, probably would be dead if she wasn't immortal. Moana felt very blessed to be able to sit and watch her children play in the reef- a place she could never go to as a child.

But Maui wasn't there. He was off doing something helpful for the village, grabbing pets from trees or helping elderly people with leaks in houses. The people of Motonui adored the demigod and their demigoddess chief. Everything was right with the world .

Moana heard a familiar kaw of an eagle overhead, and looked up to see her husband soaring above their children. She smiled as she saw him shape shift into a shark on the reef and terrify the kids for a moment. Uta, the girl of the twin pair, realized it was only their father and ran up to hug his shark form. He shapeshifted back into a human and hugged his children back.

He felt a great pride grow in him, not the pride when he slowed down the sun, pulled islands out of the sea, not even when he got his hook back from Te Fiti. This was a treasure not even Tomatoa could have, a treasure that was shone on his skin. For when each child was born, they where added onto the boat next to Moana, where another mini him was holding on his tats. He had three little versions of each of his kids over his heart, where they would always belong.

He let them go and returned to playing. He went up to the rock Moana was sitting at and lightly pecked her lips. They smiled at each other, then stared back out to the sea. Moana, demigoddess of way finding, leaned her head onto Maui, demigod of the wind and sea, and nothing could be better than that moment, a moment frozen in time.

Surprise, bet ya thought you saw the last of me. SO I got a comment saying it would be cool if I made an epilogue, because I did leave the story on a cliffhanger (sort of).

SO here is some fluff and stuff. As I re-read this fic over and over I cringe every time. I'd like to say my writing has improved from this but, let's be real guys, this was my first story and I'm so happy about all the attention it got. Seriously. You guys rock.

So finally, for real, I hope you enjoyed Stars Align as much as I did. Its_yo_boi_geeky_gal, signing off from this fic for the last time

(Go check out my modern AU and one shots!!)
