I wake up in the morning and see Maui is still sleeping. Since I don't want to wake him, I lay in his arms for a few more minutes. He slowly opens his eyes and yawns.
He looks down at me and smiles.
"Good morning, beautiful," he says, his voice raspy. I softly peck his lips and we lay in silence for a few more minutes. Soon we get up and get our things ready. They have provided us with bags so we can carry the food.
Chief Zamar watches as we grab our canoe and get our supplies in it.
He puts a flower crown on my head and a flower necklace on Maui.
"Best of luck on your trip to defeat Kahõtū," he smiles. I bow and thank him for his generosity.
Then, we are off.

The boat started sinking. But that's not the only thing that woke him to be in a bad mood.
"Men!" He snapped, grabbing supplies and holding on to some pieces of floating wood, "Who stayed up to follow Moana?"
The men looked around aimlessly, avoiding eye contact with the ticked off guard.
"Gahh! Now we'll have to find her all over again! And land!" As soon as he said that, he looked up and saw a huge island covered in brush.
Him and his men swam over as fast as they could, reaching shore gasping for air.
They went deep into the brush, when a man jumped out with a spear.
"Two parties of guests within a week? Rarity," he sighs.
"We mean no harm," Inu states, hands up, "We  need a canoe. Ours flooded and all our supplies are gone."
"Hey, another group came in looking for supplies," the guard said. A hope rose in Inu.
"Was it a chief?" He asks.
"Why, yes. Chief Moana and Demigod Maui," the guard stated.
Inu cursed under his breath.

So this is my first 'tease' chapter that gives you a bit of suspense then leaves you hanging. Barely 500 words, short yet sweet.
I promise this is my last post (I hope. I need sleep).
