"Harry..." I complain as he drags me around the cafeteria in hope of finding his ring, even though I've hidden it in my back pocket. I laugh as he runs around through the cafeteria faster than I've ever seen him run in PE.
It's currently our last day at school so he's worried that if he doesn't find it today, he'll never find it.
"Stop laughing, I'm really worried." Harry says, looking at me in concern. I hold back another laugh from the back of my throat and continue following him around.
I sigh when I hear the bell ring for last period and Harry pauses and frowns at the speaker, crossing his arms and pouting him lip. To say he looks adorable is an understatement.
"Come on kiddo. We're going to be late." I say, quickly slipping the ring from my hand into his back pocket. He jumps at the sudden touch.
"Why are you touching my butt, you weirdo." Harry jokes and fixes up his hair while we walk to class. I laugh along with him as we enter the classroom and prepare for our last lesson before a short 2 week vacation.
Luckily, after those 2 weeks, we only have 5 weeks before we graduate, meaning goodbye school and hello freedom. Well, not including collage of course.
The lesson goes by very slowly, probably because Niall was too busy working to talk to me. Harry invited me over to his house today because he told me he felt bad for letting him stay over at such short notice, even though I did the same to him.
After school I follow Harry to my car since he was dropped off this morning and I drive to his house. Niall doesn't seem to be talking to me as often as before our argument, but I haven't been paying as much attention to it because it's inevitable.
I stop at his house, parking my car outside his house. I take the chance to look at him, his perfect green eyes, bouncy curls and adorable little nose. He smiles at me weirdly when he catches me looking at him, exposing his dimples.
I look away quickly, getting out of the car and locking it, concealing my blush as much as possible.
"I saw that blush Tommo." Harry says, surprising me from behind and picking me up, running a few steps then dropping me down.
"Not fair. Why are you so tall." I say, pouting my lip and looking up at him. I don't like being short because it really doesn't match my personality. I'd kill to be able to lift up people and actually intimidate them, not be called a 'hedgehog.' "I'm even older than you!"
Harry chuckles. "Only by a few months."
"Still..." I say, following him into his house. He takes out the key and unlocks the door.
"Mum! Louis and I are home!" Harry yells, throwing his bag in the corner, which I copy.
"Aw! Hi boys!" His mum says, running out from the living room and greeting me with a hug and kiss on the cheek. "You both are so young and small." She pinches our cheeks.
"Ok, ok mum. I'll see you later." Harry says, guiding me upstairs, looking very embarrassed at his mum. I chuckle quickly and follow him into his room.
"So what do ya wanna do?" I ask as he looks through the heap of books on his bed, sorting them out on his bookshelf.
He shrugs and continues to sort through the books. I take notice of the guitar in the corner of his room.
"You play guitar? Nice!" I say. He smiles and walks towards the guitar, picking it up and sitting on his bed. "I can somewhat play some songs."
"Really? Show me?" He asks and I shake my head. He pouts his lip. I'm in no mood to completely embarrass myself in front of him with my guitar and singing not so great skills. "Oh come on."
"Do you have a keyboard, I play piano much better."
"Yup, there's an actual piano down the hallway in the spare bedroom." My eyes light up as he says that and we both walk to the room he pointed out.
The 'spare room' is practically heaven. There's a microphone in the corner which is set up as a sort of recording station, one for guitar and one which I pick out as a voice microphone. There's a mini grand piano in the other corner and a collection of guitars and ukuleles on the side.
"You done yet?" Harry asks and I quickly get out of my trance and look up at him, nodding.
I chuckle. "You must be very rich to afford all this. Never took you as a music type."
"Eh, we're not 'rich' per say. Also, yes, music is my life." He says as we walk over to the piano, taking a seat on the long chair. "Are you gonna play something?"
"Uh yeah." I say clearing my throat and pressing down on the keys for the only song that I've written myself that I've memorised.
"My hands, your hands tied up like 2 ships,
Drifting weightless, waves trying to break it,
I'd do anything to save it, why is it so hard to save it?"
I begin singing the rest of the song with the piano accompany. I decide, since I'm feeling a little self-conscious, to only sing up to the chorus. I end the song and Harry starts clapping and smiling.
"Your voice is amazing!" Harry says and I blush.
"Thanks dude." I say, getting up and letting Harry sit. "You sing something now."
He looks a little hesitant but then starts playing a song that I can almost instantly recognise, How To Save A Life by The Fray.
Saying his voice is beautiful is an understatement. It's got the right amount of sweetness to it but there's this raspy sound in it which makes it sound wonderful.
He finishes off the last chord and I clap, surprised at how well the sweet little angel can sing.
"Bro...that was great!" I say pulling him into a 'man-hug.' He laughs as we both sit on the piano and start playing random notes. "Hey Harry?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you wanna go somewhere for a smoothie or something?" I ask and he nods.
"'Course! I'm so thirsty."
"That's what he said." I say, laughing as Harry gives me a disgusted look before laughing himself.
Can't believe ive written 16 chaps of this already LOL
