Soooo, I just realized that my high school really hated its students and not everyone will understand the whole locked door situation going on.

Okay, so the locks at the school I went to are only locked and unlocked with a key. Once it was locked there's no way of getting in or out.

Sorry if some of y'all were confused about this because I thought that's how other school doors worked, and I didn't really explain while writing. Anyways I hope everyone likes the chapter.

~Chapter 3~
(Edited)

"Alright, Princess, I have everything ready to go. I'll only be able to hold the signal for about five minutes before they kick me out of their system." Five minutes... That should be more than enough time for us to get to a car.

"I can work with that, Victor," I tell him before I hear the phone being passed to someone else.

"Are you sure about this, Sang Baby?" North pleads with me. His voice makes my heart clench, and I want to tell him not to worry or even that I'll be okay, but the words will be a complete lie. I have no clue what will happen to me when I leave this room.

For all I know, I could get five feet outside that door and get my face ripped off like the teacher across the hallway did, but dying attempting to save myself is better than waiting for someone to do it for me.

Besides, who knows how long I can stay in this room before someone freaks out.

I take another close look at everyone around the room. No one is near the door, thanks to Cowboy, but all of them keep glancing over to it every time a new scream is added to the cacophony of noise out in the hallway. All of them look terrified as they huddle in small groups of friends, and that overwhelming sense of fear surrounding the room just solidifies my choice.

"Leaving might be the only way for me to survive, North Star. Silas was right when he said that you guys can't get a true feel for what's going on. There are fifteen people in this room with me right now that are scared to death that they are going to die, and it only takes one of them to decide to run at the wrong time to put us all in danger." There's a long silence on the other end of the phone as my boys try processing what I said and I wait for them to accept that leaving is the better choice.

"Alright, Baby," I hear North finally say, "I'll trust you to know what's best for you." I look up at Cowboy and give him a small nod to silently tell him it's time to go. I already gave him the run down to my plan, so now it is just a matter of getting out without someone trying to stop us.

Discreetly, I step over to my desk and grab my book bag that's hanging from the back of the seat, and reach into the front pocket for my key ring. I check to make sure all the keys are still attached then reach back in for my Tiny Case of Awesomeness, which was named by Luke, and shove them both in a back pocket. I glance around to see I'm still going un-noticed and quickly head over to the door that leads outside.

Cowboy is already standing by it, pretending to look through the book bag he has sitting on the desk next to the door. I step up next to him and turn my back to the classroom before pulling out my TCOA. As its name suggests, it's a tiny rolled-up case about the size of my palm. Of course, it's pink, and I remember the huge goofy grin Luke had when he gave it to me.

*~*2 months earlier*~*

Luke skips into the room while he swings a small pink, glittery gift bag. I was trying to read a book but his excitement is distracting so I watch him out the corner of my eye. That grin of his is all mischievous which means he was up to something.
