chapter 5; getting ready for the date

(HARRY'S POV)

I walk into Lily's room like she told me then I hear yelling. Who was that fucking twat? Ashton 'WELL MAYBE I DID FIND SOMEONE NEW! AND MAYBE I LOVE HIM NOW! AND YOU KNOW WHAT?" I yell "what?" Ashton asks "HE'S TAKING ME OUT TONIGHT! I SLEPT!!! OVER HIS HOUSE! AND YOU WANNA KNOW SOMETHING ELSE? HE MAKES ME FEEL SAFE! EVEN THOUGHT HE CAN BE A REAL DICK SOMETIMES, HE MAKES ME FEEL SAFER THAN YOU EVER HAD!!!" I hear Lily yell. I make her feel safe I smile to my self. I walk down stairs and see her crying, there goes my heart again. I pull her into my chest she wraps her arms around my torso and cry.

When everything is done and Ashton left me and Lily went upstairs "Who does he think he is? Coming here thinking everything would be ok?" she says pacing back and forth "so you love me?" i smirk at her "oh please i was just saying that" she says putting her hand on her hip, ouch that hurt. "but i make you feel safe? or did you just say that?" i ask "I'm not going to lie, but you do make me feels safe, but i don't know Ashton was being a real dick" she says "come here" i say putting my arms out and she gives me a weird look "please, your lucky im doing this" i say and she walks over to me, i wrap my arms around her she does the same thing.

We stay like that for a bit till she speaks up "so where are you taking me tonight?" she asks smiling. 

oh yeah i'm taking her on a date "itsit's a surprise' i say, where will i take her? "what kind of food do you like" i ask "um i don't know, you can choose" she says getting off of my lap and she walks towards her closet "dressy or no?" she asks "you ask a lot of questions you know" i say "yeah yeah, ok I'm going to try on outfits and you choose" she says i nod my head. Then she comes out of her closet wearing skinny jeans and a cropped tee with daises "this with my white heels" she says putting both of her hands on her hips and spins around "thats ok" I say "ok??? No, i'll be right back" she says.

i felt my phone vibrate, its a message

Zayn- 'She'll be mine'

me- 'to late :))'

Zayn- lets make a deal

 oh no 

me-it depends what is it

Zayn- if she falls for you then shes yours but if she falls for me then she's mine

me-hell no I'm not going to hurt her like that

Zayn- i'll tell her who you really are then

me-whatever

*not text* 

she walks out of her closet wearing a strapless white dress all i can do is stare at her "what?" she asks looking into the mirror "you look.... beautiful" 

"LILY!!!!!!!" I hear someone and they walk into the room, its Ashely

"Ashely!!!!" Lily says hugging her

"Oh my god you look sexy! Where are you going?" Ashely says

"Harry is taking me out tonight" she says

"So are you two like dating?" Ashely asks me

"Yes" I say "no" Lily says and I frown. 

 "Well I'm going to change out of this. I don't like it" Lily says.

Then she left me and Ashely alone "so you're taking my sister on a date?" she asks 

"yup" i say popping the p 

"Harry, please be careful with her She's been through a lot with her father and Ashton" Ashely say 

"i will, i promise" i say 

then Lily walks out with a reddish sweater it looks like a crop top.And high waisted jeans 

"i think i like this, now im going to go get ready" she says.

"ok well im going to go home and get ready my self" i say walking over to Lily giving her a kiss on her cheek.

*home*

i turn on my shower and got in. i washed my hair and put on my rolling stone shirt, an my black skinny jeans. 

maybe we should just go to the carnival? that's nice right? 

i decided to to watch some tv while i wait. i got bored and texted Lily

I turn off my phone and get in my car.

i get to Lily's house a see a car in her drive away that wasn't there earlier. i walk inside the house and see a guy with her mother "oh harry, Lily is upstairs" her mother says "So your harry? stay away from my daughter" he says

i go up to him and punch him in the jaw "don't you lay you're fucking hand on Lily again or her mother!" i say and keep punching him "Lily!!" i hear her mother say and Lily comes down "Harry?" i hear her say and i get off of him "Get out" i say 

"No" he says "Get out. And don't you ever fucking touch either of them again! Got it!" I say "I'll be back to get them both" he says and walks out. He stares at lily and walks over to her before leaving. As he gets closer she walks back awards, "Oh come on Lily don't be like that" he says, she finally get to me and hugs me "leave" I say "what ever" he say walking out.

"Ms.Green would you like to go to the carnival with us? I don't want to leave you alone while he is still somewhere out there" I say "oh no, i'll go to my friends house, thanks for the offer though. Now go and have fun, oh and thanks Harry" she says I nod "come on Lily, he's not going to hurt you. Not when your with me" I say hugging her she nods.
