"Bria what are you doing?" Shane ask, but I ignored him getting out and slamming his door.
The first thing I did was run, because I knew he would follow me, but I don't wanna be bothered.
My problems may seem minor, but it's still an issue that I don't wanna deal with.
At this point I feel so betrayed. I feel like everyone turned their backs on me without a care in the world.
Who's there for me? Only Caleb, only Noah. Barely anyone else. I kept running and running, I ran to the point I didn't see the car speeding in my direction.
"HEY!"
It's like everything went in slow motion. The squeals of the tire, the impact of what came my way, felt like the air was pushed out of my lungs.
The way my body moved in midair and I could only feel it in slow motion.
Once I landed on the concrete I heard the car swerve to a stop, and someone next to me panting.
I briefly glance at the girl, and shockingly it was Vanessa.
"YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT FUCKING CAR COMING!?" She yelled.
"N-no.." I stuttered.
"YOU NEED TO FUCKING PAY ATTENTION MORE!"
I sigh "Thank-"
"YOU STUPID AS FUCK! WHERE YOU EVEN THINKING!?"
"LOOK VANESSA SHUT THE FUCK UP! I GOT A LOT OF STRESS ON MU PLATE SO CHILL OUT!" I yell getting irritated.
"You need to thank me," she stands up dusting herself off.
"Thank you."
"You almost got the both of us killed." She reply.
"No one told you to put your life at risk," I say rolling my eyes.
It got quiet after a moment.
"Don't think we cool after this either," she say glancing at me through her eyelashes.
"Never said we were going to be," I replied deciding to sit up-right on the sidewalk. "Why did you save me anyway?"
"Huh?" She mumbled while playing with her fingernails.
"You hate me so much, so why did you save me?" I asked looking up at her.
"I been in my dark places too Bria, I know the feeling."
"Then why did you just grill me seconds ago?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Because I don't need you to make this a habit," I looked at her stupidly. She sucked her teeth, sighed and rolled her eyes sitting next to me. "Look what I'm saying is, you don't need to keep acting like this constantly. From what I hear you're strong so keep being strong."
