There we all were, walking into the hospital.

"Okay ladies," I started, "Whatever you do, please let me do the talking unless asked to, okay?" They all nodded in agreement. "Thank you. Peter, what's the job tonight?"

"You- you came back?" he asked, uncertainty in his voice.

"Yes, I did. I even brought along some friends to help me."

"I-," He was surprised I came back after being lied to. He continued, "I can't believe you came back! Wha- why? Why did you come back?"

"I noticed last night there were two doors still locked, so I'll be back tomorrow night as well. I came tonight with the intentions of exploring one of them."

"Okay, give me just a moment. I will unlock a drawer behind the receptionist desk. There is a key to the closest locked door walking down the right hall. Your job there is to keep watch on four of our horror attraction animatronics, all with Nightmare in front of their names: Fabrice, Atarah, Foxy, and Clairmonde (a blue version of Atarah)."

       "Midnight to 06:00, right?"

       "Correct."

"Okay. Is it possible to split the shift between four people, and which one is the hardest?"

"It is possible to split the shift (I will unlock another drawer of four radio devices), and it's hardest from four to six."

"Okay. I'll take it from four to six. Ladies?" I asked, looking at them.

"I'll go from midnight to two," Zelda said.

"I'll go for an hour from there," Keturah spoke.

"I'll take the next hour," General Impa said.

       "Great. One more thing Peter."

       "How can I help you?"

"Is there a clock in the room, and can we bring our phones in if not?"

"That's two things," it said, electronically chuckling for the first time, "There isn't a clock in there, and phones are prohibited."

       "Okay."

"However, in the right hall in that office, there is a grandfather clock meant only to chime at 06:00, so you'll know when to leave, Link."

"Thank you." I turned to the ladies again, "I'll keep an eye on my phone. Let's say it is 01:59. Keturah would enter for her shift at that time. One minute later, I'd com Zelda to tell her to come back out. Okay?"

"Makes sense," they all said in unison.

"Great." I looked at my phone, "Oh, let's grab the com systems, put them on, and head to the door with the key." I walked behind the receptionist desk and took the com systems with the key. "Come on. I'll distribute the com systems on the way." I motioned for them to come along, and they did. As we all walked down the right hall, I gave the com systems out to them. As we approached the door, it became a minute before midnight

"Alright Zelda, good luck," I said, giving a hug to receive something more special. She walked away from me and into the eternal darkness.

Princess Zelda's POV

I walked down the corridor until I found another door. It opened all on its own, though.

"There are doors to your left and right that you may close. You have a limited amount of power due to the company cutting back on power supply to survive, which is clearly shown on the computer in front of you. For your convenience, in the chair is a camera monitor with buttons to close the doors. The lights can be found on the monitor. Using the monitor and turning on the lights and closing the doors uses power. Be careful, and good luck."

"Thank you," I replied. I turned on the left light first and saw nothing. After about one second, it flipped off, and I checked the other light to find a silhouette. I closed that door and checked the other side to find nothing. After flipping the light on the right side on, I opened the door. I did this for my entire time there. Once I heard Link suddenly say:

"One minute left," I jumped and saw the power was at seventy-six percent. A few seconds afterwards, Keturah showed up next to me, and I explained to her how everything worked before I left my shift.

Keturah's POV

My turn! After a bit of checking in on Nightmare Foxy, he wasn't there. I closed both doors. It only took one second to hear a knocking on the right door, so I checked the light. No one was there, therefore I opened the door. I checked the other light, and no one was there. I opened the door, and following that was Clairmonde. He walked to the left on the cameras, so I closed the left door. It took him a minute to leave, and I opened the door once he did.

"Heads up," I suddenly heard Link say, "One minute left." A few seconds later, Impa showed up in the room, and I showed her how everything worked while buzzing off Nightmare Fabrice and before leaving my shift. I arrived to a very relieved Link.

General Impa's POV

My turn! I was at fifty-five percent power when my shift came, and I took charge half-way through the night, so I felt confident yet not prideful. I flipped the light for the left hall to see Nightmare Fabrice, so I closed the door. I looked on the camera monitor to see Nightmare Foxy wasn't where he was supposed to be, so I closed the right door. One second after doing so, I heard a knocking sound and assumed it was safe. I opened the door, and it was safe.

"Heads up," I suddenly heard Link say, "One minute."

My POV

"Before you go in," Peter said before I walked to the corridor, "your shift is the hardest because you have to face one very active animatronic named Golden Fabrice. Listen for its laughter." I nodded and walked down the corridor to learn about how things worked. As soon as I entered the room, I felt a sudden snap of energy that made me insomniac. I had forty-five percent power left, so I was feeling confident in myself not to the point of pride. I never stopped checking the lights or listening for laughter.

"It's 05:30," I heard Sara tell me, worried and hopefully, "Only thirty more minutes, and you'll be safe with us." I kept up a good pace, checking the lights and closing doors.

I'm ALMOST done! Just as I said that, I looked at the computer as everything shut down. I used all my might to fight the fear that attacked me. I suddenly saw a golden version of Nightmare Fabrice right there in the door as I heard the chimes of a grandfather clock in the right hall. I kept myself quiet until Golden Fabrice disappeared, and the doors shut automatically. I joyfully and contentedly walked out of that room, knowing I had done the world many a favor.

"Yes!" I shouted, "Yes! Yes! Yes! I survived the hardest shift!" I was very relieved alongside everyone else. I even received a quick kiss on the cheek from Princess Zelda. "Phew. Now that's all done, we should all go home and rest."

       "Wait," Peter said.

       "What? What is it?"

"You will come back tomorrow night, right?"

"I have one more locked door to walk through and explore, so yes, I will come back."

"Oh, thank you for being a man of your word."

"However, ladies, I will have to go alone this time."

       "Why?" Keturah asked, now concerned.

"Remember when I sensed an evil presence on the upper floor? Well, how can you get upstairs without stairs or another method of rising?"

"Let's not worry about that yet," Impa said, "For now, let's get some sleep." All of us walked one and a half hours home that day, knowing we did something good for the world.
