There I was, standing there in the doorway and in the darkness that followed. This time, though, I took no fear with me.
"Here I am Peter," I said.
"You ACTUALLY came back?!" he asked.
"Of course. I always do what I say I will do."
"Thank you so much for not leaving me."
"Of course. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a door to explore."
"Wait. There's something else that needs to be done before you can go there."
"What is that?"
"The key for that door is not in the receptionist desk. It is in the control room, but to get it, you must restart all the systems manually. Somehow the systems were damaged last night, but I couldn't restart any of them automatically. The key will be given to you through Funtime Fabrice's mouth. I'll make sure of it."
"All the systems?" I asked, confirming I understood what he just said.
"Yes." I immediately started walking down the left hall to the control room, picked up the cassette tape on the wall at the door, and walked in.
"You remember how this works, right?"
"Yes, I do." I saw the same flashlight going off after the same amount of seconds, showing me the same plastic animatronic. I saw the control panel for the systems. I found the Funtime Auditory and proceeded to restart that system first. One. Two. Three. Four-
"I know you're in there," I hear a strange, electronic voice say. I stop and turn on the cassette tape. As I did, the flashlight showed me Funtime Fabrice was basically in my face, jaws open. What I saw within those jaws utterly shocked me. A head looked at me, and it looked like it was struggling for life as its neck slowly bled out. I suddenly heard snaps that seemed to crush the person in Funtime Fabrice. I heard the screams and yells of the person as his bones crunched. Out of the bottom of the suit was a leakage in blood. I saw his head become entirely crushed, and some of his blood squirted on me. All his screams finally faded out as did his life. The suit then fell on its knees, then fell face down in front of me, blood still pouring out of his head. I then held five out of the eight buttons down for six seconds simultaneously. After pushing the other three buttons for another six seconds, I noticed in all the blood was a key. I picked it up, wiped it off, walked out the room and to the right, and walked to the door in the back. I placed the key in the hole (it fit perfectly). As I heard the clanking and unlatching of metal, the double-door opened itself. I walked up the stairs slowly and quietly, looking for anything suspicious. Once I finished walking up the stairs, I walked into an... ancient room? Dang it! I thought to myself, I forgot about the letter. With that, I quickly pulled the letter out of my pocket and opened it:
Dear Hero of Time,
If you are reading this, I have finally placed the blade in a room of ancient looks. You shan't find it at first, though. Only after you defeat the guardian of that precious sword will you find it. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you when I wanted to, but since Din was there, I wanted to keep this as secret as possible. You must hurry though. She knows I have placed it and will do anything and everything to barricade you from your task ahead. Don't fall for it, or the results shall be catastrophic. I wish you all the luck in the world.
Sincerely,
Farore, Goddess of Courage and Life
After reading this, I folded it again and put it back in my pocket.
