Sara's POV
All of us were having a hard time keeping up with the little goblins, but we managed. At this point, instead of red or green, there was black painted on us and all over the cab car interior when a sudden thud brought us all to the ground. Before our eyes was a big version of the goblins.
"You," it said, pointing at me, "You're mine!" He started charging at me as we all rushed in to attack. It merely swung at us with its oversized arm, sending us into the wall and on to our knees. "That's exactly what my master expects to see from you!" It was about to introduce us to its huge, wood club had Link not jumped and thrown his sword at the monster, taking that hit for us.
My POV
All I could do was moan and cry in pain as the club hit me, knocking me through the coach. I rolled all over the ground, the grass in my path transforming from a solid green to a liquid red. There was already a half-inch hole in my right hand, twenty-five percent of the bones either shattered or gone. Everyone rushed to me as I lied in the grass, losing a lot of blood every second.
"Link! Link!" Zelda shouted. I used all the strength I had to move my left hand onto my right. "No. Please. Don't go. We still need you."
"I'm not going anytime soon," I whispered, finally able to hold my hands together. Just like I did with Keturah, all the blood in the grass started floating in the air and flying towards me, and my bones were being repaired and made again. The half-inch hole in my hand slowly disappeared when my skin and nerves started to regenerate. "Well, now I will need to rest some more. It will probably only be a three minute nap, though, so if I faint or fall over-" I said as I fell... to the... darkness... ground...
What... what is that... everything looks... I was coming back from my nap, resting on a bed- wait a minute. Where am I? I asked myself. It looked like some sort of old hospital room. I sat up on the bed and looked around. Once I looked to my right, I saw the same man whom drove the train from his world to ours. He was still asleep. I still had my uniform on, a hole now in the leather gloves I wore. Yet again, I snapped into an eternally white room. Those green flames surrounded her again.
"I am glad to hear you survived the pursuit with an onboard attack. It relieves me to see you alive."
"I am also glad I survived. Anyways, where do I need to go now?" I asked Farore, Goddess of Courage and Life.
"If you take your train in its current direction, remember the pattern of turns at intersections: straight, left, right, and straight until you enter the Lost Woods. In the Lost woods, leafless trees will point in either direction. Listen to all except the last you see."
"Okay."
"Good luck, but before you go, I must tell you something else."
"What else must I know?"
"Friends are there to help you, and they are your number one priority - not this quest."
"Okay," I said, confused why she told me that. The hospital room then snapped back into place. I heard gentle footsteps coming down the hall to the left. Clank. Clank. Clank. Clank. Each step became louder and louder until someone else appeared in the doorway.
"Why welcome back, Link," she said.
"Sure feels good to be back."
"There are three guests waiting for you outside."
"Okay." She started to walk off, but I needed to know something. "Wait."
"How may I help you?"
"Two questions," I was pointing to the engineer now, "Will he be alright?"
"He was hit hard on his head, but he'll be alright."
"Phew. Happy to hear that. My second question is: Who is he? I was never introduced to him properly."
"I don't know his name, but I know he's the best engineer in all of Hyrule Kingdom." With that she walked down the hall and outside. I followed behind her.
Once I finally arrived outside, I saw a few buildings surrounded by walls. It appeared I was in a town inside a castle, but I wasn't going to assume anything yet.
"Link!" I heard a voice say.
"Oh, thank the Goddesses you're safe." There they were, General Impa, Princess Zelda, and the Sorceress Keturah, all jumping off the bench in the center of town with a fountain of water.
"It's so good to see you again!" Zelda said, now needing a hug.
"It's great to see you too, all of you. It's great to be back." I returned their welcoming hugs with my own. "Does anyone know the name of this town?"
"I believe it is Castle Town," Lily said. As we all let go, one person came to us, saying:
"Is it- could it really be?! Hey, everyone. The Prince and Princess have returned!" People now started to gather around us in awe that we were there at all.
"At least their reincarnations are back," I quickly replied, "We are the reincarnations of Princess Zelda and Prince Link."
"That's exactly what we mean," one of the villagers replied.
"Just want to make sure we understand each other about this topic." Everyone cheered and whistled loudly for us. I finally was able to silence the crowd and speak:
"Fellow citizens of Castle Town. I understand all of you are excited to see the Princess and I back in town, but I eventually have to leave and start a quest. I say this because my quest is taking me to more than one distant place, but once I'm done at one place, I'll come back for a few days, and then I'll be off again. I hope you can understand why." With that, I took Zelda's beautifully smooth hand and started walking towards the castle.
"Your highnesses," the guards to the castle said, bowing to us, "It is an honor to see you back again. Please come in." They moved out of the way of the stone doorway, and we walked down a long, ancient corridor.
