Nathan paces the floor of the elevator, his hands grasping strands of his chocolate hair in frustration.
"Why are you in such a rush?" I start to question. "If the elevator shut down because the power in the airport shut down, I doubt any flights are going to be taking off."
Nathan shakes his head and then collapses to his knees in the middle of the elevator shaft, which makes the small metal box drop a few inches.
"The funeral is at eight tomorrow morning."
