Selena's POV

It has been a couple of days since we first started our scheduled days and Ms.Plucker is as strict as ever with her etiquette and precise ways if walking, and talking, and sitting up straight. Its quite annoying actually. I mean one time i accidentally entered my seat from the right instead of the left and then i had to repeat the whole procedure of of entering a room and sitting down.
It was about 8:50 and most everybody was asleep or in bed waiting for sleep except me. I was laying down on one of the couches in the 1st room as we call it,which is the first room you walk into( its basically the living room), when all of a sudden the door was pushed open by a small girl with black, straight hair and dark brown eyes.
She ran in wearing a white jacket with pink spots on it over a hot pink shirt that had a golden crown on it with the words princess under it, hot pink, zebra fluffy pants and purple, fuzzy slippers on. She looked to be about the age of 3 and i immediately became curious as to why she was here.
She ran up to me and hid behind me whispering to be quiet and to act natural. A couple seconds later i could see the shadow of feet of about 2-3 other kids run past the door. The mysterious little girl giggled a little and before making sure that they were gone and made her introduction.
"Hey, sorry about that. I was just playing hide n' seek with my sister and our friends and i couldn't find a decent place to hide." She said giggling a little during her explanation.
"Oh, and by the way my name is Isabella" she said and gave a little curtsy with her non existent dress
"Selena" I said with a respectful nod. She was now sitting next to me feet kicking back and forth. "Say, what are you doing up at this time anyways?" I inquired giving her a teasing suspicious glance.
"Well i could ask you the same thing," she said with an attitude and crossed her arms making me laugh at her attitude. "but im up cause i couldn't sleep and i was bored so i gathered my crew and we started playing tones of games. Well ive talked, so now its your turn." She said staring at me intently.
"Oh my excuse isn't near as sneaky as yours" I said tickling her a bit making her giggle.
"Well cough up"she said
"Just thinking" i said
"About?"
"Everything i guess"i said answering her inquiries. "So, now you tell me. How on earth did you manage to get past those two lunks of meat and muscle out that door?" i said laughing a bit at my description of my guards
"Oh, you mean Luke and Lucas?" she questioned she said as i nodded and she burst out laughing. "Oh them, they are one of my brothers friends and we sometimes talk and they often play dress up with me." she said making me howl in laughter. Oh i can so use that against them!
We talked a bit more and became quick friends. At around 9:10-9:15 she looked a bit worn out so i told her to sleep and that i would make sure she got to her room safe and sound.
"Can you sing me a song please?" she asked while rubbing her eyes a bit. I know i wanted to keep on a down low and stuff but i decided that just for her i would sing a song.
"Sure thing, squirt, what song would
you like me to sing?" i said, using her official nickname.
" Just so you know im not the taylor swift kind of girl but do you mind singing the song Safe and Sound?"She asked while i chuckled and muttered a "sure thing kid"

I was about continue to sing the rest of the song when Jasmine, Courtney, Ashely, and Natalia walked into the first room beaming and squealing when i shushed them quickly with a wave of my hand.
I stood and carried Isabella to the door just as it was about to open to show the man and woman from my first day here, also known as the "king and queen" people.
The woman was basically hyperventilating and the man was doing his best to calm her down when i came out.
"Oh, sorry, um.. I know its after hours and stuff but i got to talking with Isabella and lost track of the time. Im so sorry i assure you that this will never happen again." i said nodding down at the sleeping form of Isabella.
"How did you come by her?" the "king" man asked
"Oh, i saw her earlier today and i asked her if she wanted to come and hang out. I just lost track of the time and i was just going to return her to one of the guards to take her to her room like i promised i would." i said, my heart not skipping a beat, not that it should have seeing as I technically told the truth.
"Ok well we'll just take her on from here" the king had said as his wife went to grab for her.
She surprisingly only held on tighter to me. I curiously asked them who she was to them. You know, just to be sure i wasn't handing over my friend to sone psychopaths.
"Shes our daughter" the queen lady said as she stared proudly at her young one.
"Oh my god, i didn't mean any disrespect ir anything i just, yah."
"Nonsense my child, i completely understand"
After Isabella was pried off of me and the king and queen left i went back inside.
"OMG, how could you, you never said you could sing! Especially like that!!" Courtney said aloud, really loud.
"Shhhhh" i whispered "Might i remind you that it is way past hours." i said
"Oh right,sorry but damn girl i wish i your voice" Courtney said
"I second that" Ashely said
"Me too" Natalia said
"Hell girl, your voice males up for your lack of rhythm in dance" Jasmine said
"You mean my lack of everything in dance?" i questioned as we all laughed.
"Can you sing us a song?"Courtney
"Yah sing us a song"Ashely
"Ok well what song?" i said
"Any song"jasmine said
"It doesn't matter so long as we can hear you sing"Ashely
"I hope you realize that that sounded really REALLY creepy right?" Natalia said
Everybody stared with bated breath and anticipation as i started the song Catch my breath

When i was done singing i looked up at my four friends to see them gaping at me, eyes open to the extent of popping out.
"Well?" i asked
"Oh"jasmine started off
"My" Natalia continued
"Freakin'"Courtney followed
"GOD!"Ashely squealed
I just stood there grinning
"But you do realize that nobody can know about this right?"i said
"What, why?" everyone asked at the same time.
"Ok first off that was weird. Second because if anybody notices me because of my singing i would be easily pointed out."i said
"Fine" Ashely said with a put and stomping her foot like a child
"Ok,whatever you say chief" Courtney said with sarcasm dripping of her tongue and a mock salute.
"Sure thing, whatever you say" Natalia with a big sigh.
We all looked up to Jasmine waiting for her confirmation that she wouldn't tell.
"Ugh, fine. I wont tell anyone" She said in frustration
"Thanks guys. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me." I said with a smile as they all grinned. "So y'all, lets just get to bed, we don't want to be late to Ms. Plucker's class now do we. And hup,two,three, four, hup two, three, four." I said as we all laughed and climbed into bed.
