{Dan}

Mallie basically forced us into her car and she was driving as fast as she could without getting us into an accident. This time, there was no singing. There was just a heavy silence that was carried with the four of us.

"Do you think our boyfriends are okay?" I asked, breaking the silence. Every word I said brought me closer to tears.

"W-we have good luck, they should b-be fine," Lana said, also almost on the verge of tears.

What shocked me the most was how Mallie was the one who dragged us out first. She probably just wants to make sure that our boyfriends are okay and that everybody else is okay. That's good ol' Mallie for you.

When we arrived at the site of the accident, everything looked like it was falling apart.

There was caution tape just about everywhere around the bus. Police officers were talking to some teachers that were on the bus that for evidence, and some doctors were helping students with bad wounds. The bus still had smoke coming out of it, and other police offers were helping students off the bus.

Mallie quickly rushed out of her car and ran up to the caution tape, which was blocked by a police officer. Mallie looked as if she was trying to look for something inside the crowd of people behind the tape.

"Excuse me miss, but I can't let you past this tape," the police officer told Mallie as she tried to go into the crime scene.

"Please! Our really close friends are in there somewhere and we just wanna make sure that they are okay!" Kalea begged. Thankfully, the police officer gave in and we went running into the crime scene.

Mallie moved the quickest, still looking around.

"Dan!" I heard someone call out from behind me. I turned around to see Jay, along with Luka and Grant.

"Oh my God!" I shouted as I ran into Jay's arms. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Lana and Kalea embrace their boyfriends.

"I'm so so so so glad that you and Luka and Grant are okay," I exclaimed, almost starting to cry. Of happiness this time that Jay was okay.

I pulled away to see if Mallie was going to be awkwardly standing there, but this time, she had disappeared. Great.

"Guys? Have you seen Mallie?" I asked my friends and their boyfriends, along with Jay. They all shook their heads, probably being too invested with each other to pay attention to anything else that was happening.

But I get that. Being faced with the possibility that your boyfriend could be very injured makes someone very worrisome. You don't pay attention to anything else except the fact that one of the people you love the most if okay and in your arms again.

{Mallie}

I couldn't find her.

My anxiety hasn't been this high before.

If I can't find her, I might as well start crying right here.

"Mal?"

{Lana}

I hugged Luka for a second time. I pulled away when I heard someone say Mallie's name. At first I thought it was Dan or Kalea, but I was wrong. Neither of them had said anything.

They looked at me, and then toward the direction where we heard our friend's name.

We saw Mallie turn the direction that she heard her name. Her outfit made her stand out from everybody else.

A girl that was way taller than Mallie walked toward her. She had dark hair that curled at her shoulders, and she was wearing a black leather jacket, a black shirt, some black jeans, and black boots. Mallie covered her mouth with her hand and looked up at the girl, and practically threw herself onto the girl.

Everything started to make sense now.

{Mallie}

Her embrace made me feel ten times better than I had been feeling.

No, one hundred times better.

I looked up at her face. She had many cuts on both sides of her face.

I cupped her cheeks and gave her the most longing look that she has ever seen.

"Aw Mal, you're gonna make me cry," Fey exclaimed.

My eyes starting watering and I hugged her again.

{Kalea}

"Isn't that the girl who Mallie was talking to at Grant's party?" I asked.

Dan squinted her eyes. "I think so. Wait. Yup. Yes that is her."

"She has been acting suspicious lately. Maybe it's because she got a significant other of her own now," Lana exclaimed.

{Mallie}

"Thank you for staying alive," I told her.

She pulled my chin up towards her face and kissed me.

{Dan}

"I had no idea that Mallie was gay," Grant exclaimed.

"Neither did we," Lana, Kalea, and I confessed at the same time.

"Wait, really?" Jay questioned.

"She never said anything or told you that she had a girlfriend?" Luka asked.

I shook my head. "Nope."

"Maybe there's a reason," Lana acknowledged.

"Like fear of rejection?" Kalea mentioned.

"Probably."

{Mallie}

I pulled away, smiling.

I turned back to look at my friends. They were all staring at me. At us.

I felt my cheeks turn a rosy pink.

"Are they your friends?" Fey asked me.

"Y-yeah," I said.

"Can I meet them? You don't have to introduce me," she assured me.

"No, I will introduce you. They know now."

She smiled at me. I lead her over to my friends.

"Guys, this is my girlfriend, Fey," I told them. They look, surprised, to say the least.

"How long have you been dating?" Lana asked, smiling.

----------

I drove the five of us back to the college. All that Lana, Kalea, and Dan did was ask questioned about Fey.

Jay, Grant, and Luka all rode back in police cars to the college. Many other kids were treated the same, however, those who had greater injures had to stay behind to check them checked.

When we arrived at the college, I confidently walked into the building, with her hand in mine.

----------

Let's just say that tonight's performance was beyond flawless.

It was incredible. All the actors performed to their fullest potential. Even Trinity. She did pretty good compared to her acting that she did in the past.

At the very end during the cast's final bows, when Lana and Kalea stood up to bow together, Grant and Luka screamed as loud as they could. And when Dan and I and the rest of the crew stood on stage to bow, Fey and Jay cheered for us too.

So far, this was one of the best performances that Hawking High was ever preformed. Or that I have seen with my own two eyes.

And the love of my life survived a car wreck and was here to witness the one reason why I love school so much.

Theater.
