day two
since the rest of the guys heard from baekhyun that tawni was a 'no go', they all decided that junmyeon should be the one to talk sense into chanyeol.
"why me?" junmyeon askes while crossing his arms. "well, you're the wisest out of the eight of us." jongdae stated with a shrug. junmyeon sighed as he got up from the couch, "fine..i'll go talk to him." he said before walking upstairs.
junmyeon knocked on the closed door, hearing a faint 'it's open' from the other side. he walked in to see chanyeol laying on his bed, staring at what he figured to be a picture.
chanyeol tore his attention away from the picture and turned his head to see junmyeon standing in his doorframe. "hey hyung." he greeted quietly. "why are you up here by yourself?" junmyeon asked with a small frown.
chanyeol shrugged. "i had to think." he said while sitting up. junmyeon walked over and sat down next to him. he looked down at chanyeol's hands to see that he was holding an old picture of him and tawni.
"you still love her, don't you?"
chanyeol looked over at his hyung with a sigh. "no." he said with a frown. junmyeon crossed his arms and gave him a look. "yeol, if you didn't still have feelings for tawni — you wouldn't keep staring at pictures from when you two were in college." the older male stated.
"well, i still have a bit of love for her." chanyeol explained, "i mean, she's the mother of my two children, how can i not?" he sighed. junmyeon raised an eyebrow, "chanyeol, i under-" he started before hearing voices at the door.
"are you guys up to something?" chanyeol asked his hyung with a sigh as he walked over to the door. "no, why?" junmyeon asked, trying to get his attention away from the door. when chanyeol opened it, jongin, minseok, and sehun came tumbling to the floor. sehun laughed nervously.
"h-hey hyung." he greeted with a light wave that resulted in him getting smacked on the back of the head by jongdae. "idiot." jongdae hissed quietly. chanyeol turned back around to look at junmyeon with a raised eyebrow, "you were saying?" he scoffed before walking out of his room.
"so much for talking to him." junmyeon mumbled in annoyance as ge looked at the three who were still on the floor.
