Chapter 20

We got home 2 hours before the party started which meant we barely had time to get ready. So I quickly took a ten minute shower and got dressed into my outfit. When I was done I got out of the bathroom to let Vivian shower.

I walked over to my vanity and proceeded to do my makeup. I was doing a heavy smokey eye with glitter and winged liner. Then I applied nude lips so my eyes were the focus of attention, and I finally put on some fake lashes to make my eyes pop.

Vivian came out of the bathroom looking absolutely stunning. I gasped at the sight of her and scurried over.

"You look HOT!" I exclaimed.

"Me? What about you? You're GORGEOUS babe!" I laughed and shook my head.

"Go do your make up miss beauty queen, I'll be in the bathroom doing my hair," I said.

She chuckled and went over to my vanity. I went into the bathroom and took out my hair from the hair cap. I re-curled my hair into loose waves and when I was done Vivian was done. 

I glanced over at her and saw she did some natural eyes with fake lashes while her lips were bright red.

"You look great Vi," I said. She turned to me and smiled.

"And so do you Mel," she said with a smile. I smiled back and I went back to my room. I sighed and messed around with my hair a little bit just so it didn't look too put together and more natural.

I sat on my bed and looked at my phone screen only to be surprised by a text from Luke!

"Oh my god!" I exclaimed quietly.

To: Melody

Sweetheart of course I remember you. The one and only Melody Peers isn't it? Where have you been love?

I smiled and laughed quietly.

To: Luke

Out and about. Heard you were on tour in Europe. Mind telling me where your next stops are?

I waited patiently for his reply. Vivian came back into my room and once again she looked stunning.

"So? What are you smiling at?" she asked. I shrugged.

"Remember Charming? And how he gave me Luke's number?" I said.

"Yeah," she said.

"He texted back. Didn't think he would but he did!"

"That's great! Who's this Luke guy anyway? Another ex of yours?"

"No. It's Luke Hemmings," I said. "Met him just a few months ago when I lived here."

"Wait? Like the Luke Hemmings? As in FIVE SECONDS OF SUMMER?" she exclaimed.

"Yes!" I said with a laugh.

"Oh my god! How do you know him?"

"Uh, well I didn't exactly meet him myself," I said.

"What do you mean?" Vivian asked confused. She sat beside me on my bed and urged me to continue.

"Well, on my first date with Justin we went to a dinner and then we went to a beach party. There Justin saw Luke, and they are old friends and that's how I met him," I said.

"So you met a famous guy through Justin Moors?" Vivian asked. I shrugged and responded:

"I suppose. But it doesn't matter now. He doesn't know what's been going on and he's on tour in Europe. Maybe we can see him in Italy!" I exclaimed.
